Camping on Chillagoe Creek.Pitch or park up by the picturesque Chillagoe Creek. The campsite is surrounded by Chillagoe Cattle Station with no-one else in sight besides my house. Enjoy the serenity with the birds, roos and peacocks roaming through your campsite. Beat the heat and jump into the clear waters of the creek framed by the paperbark trees and the sandy banks. Chill out fireside of an evening with uninterrupted night sky views of the milky way. This is a very beautiful part of the world with the Chillagoe Caves surrounding, they make for a wonderful day trip followed by a meal at our friendly pubs. A beautiful hidden gem. Perfect for a couple or small family wanting to escape the hectic world. This is a real gem of a hide away. It is so peaceful and there’s a plethora of animals to keep you company. Would 100% recommend but also want to keep this one to ourselves! Will be back…

Chills For Chillagoe
Elke was an amazing host, easy to communicate with and so accomodating! Her property is right on the creek which was shallow enough for our dogs to safely swim in and crystal clear. Heaps of trees for shade and great wildlife (peacocks, wallabies and monitor lizards to name a few). Highly recommend and we will be back. Good to note there is no phone reception so great time to check out off grid.
