Unplug and unwind at our 22 acre camping paradise nestled amongst the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our little rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. Plenty of trees to put up that hammock or grab a soak in our outdoor bath with views overlooking the wilderness. Sit back and gaze at the starlit skies while the kids roast yet another marshmallow on the campfire. Snuggle up during winter and cool down around the rainforest in summer. Abundant wildlife, lots of kangaroos and wallabies, koalas and beautiful birds everywhere. Please be aware that weekends are family times and do get busy with extra people. During the week it is very quiet and you could have the whole place to yourself. Sites are allocated on weekends based on numbers and if you are camping with children and dogs. We have 10 large flat grassy sites nestled amongst trees. Campsites are far enough away from other campers to enjoy the privacy. Each site is large and can allow group bookings. Loads of space for tents, camper trailers, caravans or motorhomes. Pets permitted but must be restrained. We have 22 acres of natural bushland in the Conondale Valley, between Maleny and Kenilworth; in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Less than an hour to Caloundra and Sunshine Coast beaches. Sites allocated on weekend, public and school holidays. We have endangered wildlife on the property including frogs in the creek. We are very passionate about protecting the habitat, so our property only suits eco-friendly campers who follow leave no trace principles. Sites are allocated by owner based on your group numbers, children, dogs and camp set up. A confirmation will be sent to you 24 hours before arrival with a site number and arrival instructions. Beautiful spot and very secluded at our site. Such a fun place for kids and dogs to play in the creek. Would go back in a heartbeat (without rain and mud next time). Definitely recommend taking your own toilet unless you are close to the area down from the shed.

Love love love
Words can’t express how thankful we are to Thea and Gary. From Thea assisting in setting up a beautiful secluded proposal to Gary dedicating a good half an hour directing my fiancée into the most beautiful campsite I’ve ever seen. I have shown so many family and friends how beautiful the campsite is. Unfortunately didn’t see the platypus but did enjoy the icy cold water of the creek (bring some shoes to wear in the water - the rocks are fun to try and balance on when they’re slippery) Honestly just the most magical place to disappear from technology and the craziness of the everyday life.

Camping with our dogs.
We loved our stay. Such a beautiful spot to camp. Dog friendly, lush grass and the creek was relaxing. We appreciated they let us stay a few more days at short notice.

Great spot.
Turned into a bit of a mid pile after some rain, but I suppose you’re going to get that at any camp ground. Thea and her husband were fantastic hosts, very helpful and came for a chat every couple of days to make sure things were going well. The kids loved exploring the creek as well. We’ll be back at some stage in the future. We were a group of 23 and the area allocated was a bit tight for us all with gazebos etc but when next door site wasn’t being used, Thea came straight over and let us have it for free which we were very grateful for.
