The weather is warm and the site behind our pool is a nice space to be! You will may need your airconditioner at night and this site is powered. It is lovely to be in a space where you are the only camper! You have some privacy from the gardens. The property is safe and secluded in the rural suburb of Virginia. We are situated in the Darwin Rural area on 5 acres of bush land with tropical gardens and a saltwater swimming pool. There is a variety of bird life, lizards, frogs, and possums. You can feed our friendly butcher birds and King Fishers on the fly from our verandah or pool area. Sit with the fish pond and chat with the turtle who is very shy! We have dogs that live at the property so pets on application only. (we do have a dog cage available if required and can pet sit for a day if required ) If you are travelling with a horse, we have a stable, water trough and can activate an electric fence for a horse yard. (price on application) We have caravan sites for fully self-contained caravans and we now have a shower and toilet available. If you are travelling in a group, we can accommodate you in a large open area if your group would like to stay together. Each caravan site has its own fireplace for your use. Only 5 minutes from Palmerston, 25minutes from Darwin CBD. If you are looking for a local fishing tour we can hook you up with the locals as our neighbour runs Outback Fishing Tours. We have many fishing and crabbing locations close by on the Elizabeth River, Middle Arm or around Darwin Harbour. Need a driver for a night out in town, we can arrange that too! Local Fred's Pass Food and Craft Markets are open Saturday and Wednesday night.

Pool Camp
We really loved Jenny and Tony's property, the pool is amazing in the heat and the photos don't do it justice. We choose here for a quiet place out of the flight path of the airport which was great for a sleep in and to get over some jet lag.

Pool Camp 2
We were very close to the pool and could even hear the filters bubbling of a night which was very relaxing. It was a beautiful shaded site which helped with the heat, the hosts were very friendly and gave us local information of where else to visit.
