Beautiful location and easy to find with parking right next to the site which is a bonus. Sharanne was lovely, very helpful and responsive. We loved how easy it was for our dogs first camping experience ! Braidwood being 30mins away was also helpful for picking up ice and any other items.

My friends and I had a great time and loved the tranquil site. We saw some wildlife when driving to the camp site. It was easy enough for our small car to get to. The bathrooms with hot shower made our stay even better!
It was good that we can have our camp fire on the cold nights - we brought our own little fireplace and wood/ charcoal.

A lovely spot, particularly if you were to have the entire place to yourself, but quite small and would be very busy if there were a few people there at the same time.
However, amenities are exceptional.
Unfortunately the nearby road is a bit noisy, and the sound of dirt bikes filled the air consistently.

We had the whole place to ourselves, the hosts were exceptionally friendly and the lawns freshly mowed. The bathrooms were nice and clean. It was a great experience for my family, I recommend this stay to others with young kids.

Witts End - Digger's Cabin
Overall we did enjoy our stay.
It was easy to find and the rooms have alot of old world charm which is what we enjoy.
The location was relaxing and peaceful.
I could suggest that the room could have been given a dust and vacuum before we arrived.
Understandably given being out of town it's dusty but it was a bit like oone had been in the room for quite a while.
I would also recommend that the bathroom amenities were given a thorough clean.
I did take it upon myself to spray and scrub the walls and shower seat and the toilet in the bigger bathroom for me and my family to use.
What the diggers cabin provided us was a relaxing fee days to finish out trip.
Just needs a little bit of TLC.

Mostly positive but mixed feelings
We didn’t get to meet the hosts but they were communicative and seemed really lovely and friendly via phone and message. Ammenities were clean and well looked after. Two showers with nice hot water, three toilets and a washing machine (we didn’t use but nice to have available). The property itself was beautifully maintained and very neat, however about 20-30 minute detour from our main journey from Melb to Syd. While we loooove dogs, and have dogs of our own at home, on this particular night there were many dogs saying at the campground and barking regularly. One pup in particular howled all night. We stayed in the unpowered tent only camping section and the sites were very close together. The campers next to us arrived quite late at night to set up. This wasn’t really an issue for us, but could imagine how that might be annoying for light sleepers or campers with young children. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and the hosts very clearly care about their property and campers. Undecided as to whether we would come back or not.

We recently booked a powered site at Witts End but found the campground overcrowded. Upon arrival, we discovered two other groups also claiming the same powered site, with only one power box with four outlets available for everyone. This meant setting up uncomfortably close to each other on a limited space, which was disappointing. With so many guests, the limited facilities - two showers and three toilets - led to frequent waits. Additionally, we discovered the host keeps racing greyhounds in cages on the property. Had we known this, we wouldn’t have booked, as we don’t support such practices...

For reference: couple travelling in toyota hiace campervan. The block was completely accessible in our van and easy to find. However, we felt that for the price we paid ($80 for one night), that there wasn't great value for the price. The amenities weren't as maintained as what the photos show and communication wasn't great (we weren't given any prior instructions on where to find our powered site, the listing said we would meet host on-site, there was no-one there when we arrived and then we couldn't get through to them via hipcamp app when we arrived). Couldn't locate any bins to empty our rubbish which was inconvenient considering price point. Not a bad place to stay, is at least quiet and safe, but we wouldn't pay $80 again. Also heads up for any travellers - there are gravel roads from both directions to get to this property. If you aren't keen on gravel roads, check your access points before starting your journey.

Peace and quiet in a beautiful part of NSW. Really enjoyed the nice flat camping spot, comforting facilities and the attention to detail on the property, which blends so well with the rugged bush landscapes of the region. Could not recommend more, will definitely stay again if I’m ever down that way. Thanks for sharing your lovely property!

Great big open space. Comfortable beds. My daughter was amazed to find a bower bird bower outside our front door in the morning (we arrived at night). Great for pets so will bring our dog next time.

Witts End - Digger's Cabin
No screens, a fireplace, a super comfy king size bed and a short walk to the National Park. We pottered around the property with our dog, enjoyed the silence, investigated the cemetery, read books, curled up on the lounge. Surprisingly peaceful so close to the road. Chris was a perfect host, very welcoming when we arrived, but then we barely saw him.

We had two nights in Louisa’s cabin and it was such a homely, cosy space . The wood heater did an amazing job at keeping the place toasty warm . The bed was super comfy and the property was lovely. Would highly recommend.
