Hi campers, Nestled among the hills on Old Man Gunyah Creek, this 1400 acre property is owned &and run by John & Jen. It's a sheep farm running 1600 sheep producing fine wool and fat lambs. Plenty of room to move, walk the hills, catch a fish, or just sit by the camp fire & watch the stars. Bring your motor home, caravan, camper, tent or swag, the choice is yours. The shearing shed has a fully equipped kitchen & plenty of fresh rain water. You are welcome to roll out your swag in the shearing shed if you prefer. Controlled dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a leash at all times. There is no mobile service or Wi-Fi. We are 50 kms from a corner store/service station, so don't leave yourselves short. There are toilets scattered around the property, but no shower available.

Highly recommended
If you had thoughts about camping at John and Jens Redland Camping, then click the button and do it. What a magnificent property and location. John and Jen are lovely. The campsites are spread enough apart to guarantee privacy and the property is extremely well looked after. We will be back again without a shred of doubt.

Site 6 Rope Tree
Great views, hikes and pet friendly
Jen and John’s property was a fantastic place to camp! We stayed at Rope Tree because we had a 2WD and it was easy to get to (just be mindful of potholes on the way!). There were portaloos spread throughout the property and they were well maintained, no smell, and supplied with toilet paper and water and soap to wash your hands. The property itself had beautiful views, making it a prime place for sunsets and sunrises and rolling hills. There were many hiking trails and a creek nearby, which we enjoyed exploring with our pup. The campsites are well spread out - enough to have peace and quiet, but you also know there are others nearby. Jen and John also did a great sheep shearing demonstration and they checked in on us regularly. Thank you both for an amazing stay!

Site 14 Middle East
Great place, and lovely hosts.
What a wonderful space, away from all the noise and distractions of life. Jen and John were wonderful, with Jen coming to check in on us after an exceptionally cold night. John hosted a shearing demonstration that out little people loved, bringing home their own piece of “sheep”. The amenities were great, the portaloo was very clean, and the waste and recycling bins were very much appreciated.

Epic sheep farm for family camping
What an amazing farm. Well looked after for campers comfort. Fire wood available to purchase. The green grass, kangaroos, sheep, eagles and the amazing rolling hills that we explored by 4x4. This place is just epic. The hosts John & Jen did a sheep shearing demo and explained a lot. They were always helpful with information and had lots of knowledge. Will definitely be back

We loved the site. It was quiet and secluded. The kids love running in the creek and bush walking and hiking. Lovely to meet John and Jen and thanks for educating us on sheep sheering and farming life. Definitely be back.
