Our property is situated on the North Coast of NSW, 1.5 hours south of Byron Bay in a glorious climate. It is unique because we have 5 acres of land, lots trees for shade, mowed grass and Eastern Grey kangaroos visit morning and evening. Situated in a very quiet neighbourhood, no street lights, magic night skies but only 10 minutes drive to local shops in Maclean, 15 minutes to Yuraygir National Park, fantastic views at Brooms Head, 15 minutes to Yamba's renowned surfing beaches. Did I mention fishing? Clarence River, ocean beaches, boat ramps only 10 minutes away. Only a small number of campsites which ensures that you have space to spread out, light a fire, play ball, have fun. We have a toilet and water available close to sites. Suits tent camping, camper vans, caravans or vehicles. Plenty of room for boat parking if needed. You are welcome to bring your dog, as long as it is under control, and cannot chase our kangaroos. Birdlife in abundance as well, including 3 Wedgetail eagles on occasions. In order to provide a quiet environment for everyone we ask that there be no loud music at night. Consider others in the locality at all times. All sites have ample space for a family with 50 metres separating each site. Ample trees for shade or sunny spots as required. Temperatures range from 30degrees in summer to 20 degrees in winter. Overnight 10-17 degrees.

Peaceful hideaway
Great location and great bloke.
Barry was an amazing host. Extremely friendly and accomodating, he showed us around his camp grounds to find us a good spot to setup in-spite of the recent rains over Easter. The campsite is only a short drive away from the beach and so many attractions. The toilet facilities were great and Barry was always keen for a good yarn. Highly Recommend!

Peaceful hideaway
We really enjoyed staying at Barry and Lings place. They were fantastic hosts and tried very hard to make our stay so enjoyable. We shared our campfire with them whilst they shared their excellent local knowledge. The wildlife there was abundant with plenty of roos and birdlife. The kookaburra population was the best I had experienced. Wood and fireplaces provided and an excellent toilet. Highly recommend. Chris & Shauna

Eggcellent Easter Escape
We loved our spot down under the trees, sharing the early evening with the kangaroos and waking to the bird calls in the morning. Thanks to Barry and Ling for their hospitality and sharing their love of camping. The on-site toilet was a touch of glamp, and the firewood and pit was a great way to relax and stargaze when the weather allowed. Barry went out of his way to always chat and see if we needed anything, and share his knowledge of local events, a great host! The Clarence Valley is a stunning location with lots to see and do...and Peaceful Hideaway is the perfect location to experience it from ⛺️🤩
