Location, location, location!
Our equestrian property is located on the doorstep to Hunter's famous Wine Country. Just a gentle, flat stroll on a country road to Hunter Brew House which is a collection point for wine-tours and concert bus pick-ups.
We are just 8km from Hope and Roche Estates. Catch a bus to the concert and you can be back in your swag before others are even out of the carpark!
Enjoy 12 acres of flat paddock with unobstructed views, walk to the hotel restaurant and eat-in, or order take-away from a range of restaurants delivered to you. We can point you to restaurants in the Valley that have courtesy buses that will collect from the front gate.
Walk to a cafe (located inside Simply D'Vine Nursery) for breakfast.
On your campsite enjoy meeting the resident horses, or bring your own! Horse agistment available for a small fee.
Bring your pooch and enjoy the fresh air. Warm your toes as you chat around the firepit. Firewood is supplied.
You will be conveniently located just a few minutes from shops and supplies in Cessnock.
This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring own supplies (drinking water) and camping shower amenities. The camping area is grassy and level. We have a dunny by the front gate and a private space for you to set up your camp shower.
Our guests can enjoy for FREE a premium wine tasting at McLeish Estate Wines (10 minutes away) with complimentary cheese valued at $24 per person. Just mention that you are our guest when booking with McLeish.
Caravans are welcome. Our driveway is tree-lined, and some guests who are particular about their camper vans or caravans, or are looking for a more manicured space are encouraged to look at Wine Country Caravan Park located on the other side of Wine Country Drive.

The bathroom is not really a bathroom. For over $100 per night, I would expect a proper toilet. Other than that, fine - a decent flat grassed area to camp.
Simple but nice spot. Host was awesome and really looked after us at McLeash wines! Close walk to the pub. Lovely spot and recommend for a hub while in the Hunter Valley.
We throughly enjoyed camping on Alyssa’s land as it was within easy walking distance to a great brewery and also a cafe - both with delicious food! It was also close to other vineyards too. Alyssa was very friendly and helpful. She left out enough firewood for the first night and roll of toilet paper too. We also took up the complimentary wine tasting with cheese at McLeish Estate which we’d also recommend. We will definitely return!
Alyssa’s property is very centrally located within the Hunter valley wine region at Nulkaba. We cycled everywhere with ease and the complimentary Wine tasting was a fabulous bonus. Enjoyed our stay immensely and recommend this Hipcamp.
Fantastic Location :) close to wineries and cafe’s and the brewery was only a short walk. We had a great stay. Alyssa was very accomodating and directions were great found our site easily.
The host was lovely, however this is the most expensive camp in Aus. We only booked at this price as our other Hipcamp cancelled on us last minute and the caravan parks were booked out. Directions in were great, however directions to the actually site were a bit unclear. Don’t really get much for what you pay.
