We are located right on the edge of the Macleay river with lots of space for you to camp near the river front, or in the paddock amongst the green flat grass.  Use the camp as a base and head out for a kayak, on the stand up paddle board or simply throw a line in for a spot of fishing. Crabbing is permitted in this area. You need to be fully self-contained with own camping toilet/shower.  Relax around the campfire and help the kids toast marshmallows. The beach is within driving distance, it's 5 minutes to town Drinking water is available. Dogs on leashes welcome. Please note that each booking includes 1 drivable + 1 towable vehicle. If your group has more than 1 drivable vehicle, please book a second site. Beautiful grassy spot by the water
This is the second time we have stayed and it did not disappoint. Lovely flat grassy spot with plenty of space for even the largest of vans. Was able to have a bit of a fish nice and close to the van. Perfect spot and we will be back again.

Super private and close to town. We had a really enjoyable private stay with family. kids loved fishing the river and playing footy. Thanks for great memories. We will be back!

Had the best time at this camp spot. Super close to everything in south west rocks. Great being away from the masses! Highly recommend if you’re comfortable to handle no amenities!

Great spot to base camp.
First time to Home Camp, won't be the last! Michael's property is just what we expected- open, river front, lush mown grass, private. So close to South West Rocks and the beach. The amount of wildlife was astounding- eagles, kangaroos, fish jumping, prawns skimming the surface, all sorts of aquatic birds... If all Hipcamps are like this, I'll be using them regularly.

Great affordable overnighter
Great spot, lush thick grass riverside sites, ideally placed on the banks of the Macleay River. Host was very layed back and runs a great ship. Considering this is on the main Road into South West Rocks, traffic noise was pretty mild. Highly recommend for a short stay. Thank you.
