We are set on 5 acres, just 10 minutes west of the shops, beaches, and cafes of Port Macquarie, and two minutes off the Pacific Highway. Our location makes for a safe and convenient place to rest up for a night or two on your journey north or south. Wauchope is 10 minutes to the west of us and the mountain ranges are 40 minutes. We don't provide toilets, so self-contained campers only please, however, water and 249-volt power are available. Pets are more than welcome. My wife and I look forward to meeting you.Kilcoghlan Rest Stop has of space for a convenient and safe stopover for one night or a few. The new koala hospital and Wildnets are no more than a 10 minute walk , and Billabong Zoo is a 5 minute drive. The Cowarra State Forest which offers tracks for mountain biking, walking and 4WD is adjacent to the property The BP Service Centre is a 5 minute drive and offers fast food outlets such as McDonalds, KFC, Guzman y Gomez and Olivers. Pets are more than welcome. Campfires are permitted, but please abide by local fire restrictions when in place. If unsure, please check with us. The location is just a 10-minute drive from Port Macquarie, where you'll find some great beaches, shops, and cafes.

Private lush Campsite in Rural area
We loved the setting in a beautiful lush Garden. Amazing early waking up with natural noises,... Birds, etc, which we don't know anymore in urban Belgium. The host was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place! Thank you Michael & Deb for this unforgettable experience!

A wonderful stay
We loved our stay at Michael’s property. Michael was very accommodating and great to chat too. Beautiful property and gorgeous views. We stayed for 2 nights. It was a great base to explore port Macquarie and surrounds. We will happily stay again and highly recommend for other travellers.

Lovely stay
Stayed for one night with our 6 berth motorhome on our way south towards Sydney. Greeted by Michael and his three lovely dogs upon arrival. Michael was very welcoming and had a choice of sites to park our motorhome. 249v power was available and Michael even provided a power adapter so we could connect up our motorhome. Enjoyed a quite restful night. Really enjoyed our stay and can definitely recommend Michael’s site for a short stay.

Beautiful sunset. Two minutes off the highway. Quiet. Hosts were incredibly helpful. No Mozzies, plenty of birds. Power and water available. Plenty of wood for a lovely fire (pity we were there during a total fire ban time). Really great place for an overnight stop. Would definitely stay there again.
