Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Come and stay among the gum trees in our peaceful camprgounds with easy 2WD access from the main road. With an abundance of birds and resident koalas above, sweeping green pastures and beautiful forested areas, this 80-acre property offers a chance to relax and disconnect from the modern world.
Idlewilde is your gateway to the mighty Minyon Falls National Park and the Rainbow Region. You'll be camping just a short drive from the breathtaking Minyon falls, with a host of options for hiking and picnicking in the area.
The property was previously an 80-acre cattle farm, however, it will be undergoing redevelopment with a focus on agroforestry and carbon sequestration.
We welcome self-contained caravans and RVs, who have their own camp toilet and shower.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome to come and camp too!Light and bright campsite overlooking lush green paddocks, with plenty of open spaces and tall gum trees nearby. You'll be sharing the space with our resident koala, so keep an eye on the trees!
There is a historic farm shed nearby with running water, and there are plenty of fallen branches under gum trees you are welcome to collect for your campfire.
There are currently no cattle on the farm, so pets are welcome.
There's also a creek at the bottom of the property with access through paddocks, you are welcome to explore around here.
Please note you MUST have self contained amenities, we dont have shower and toilet facility yet.
