Our Hopkins Heights Bus is perched high on a hill on our 44 acre property in the North of the Tweed Valley looking out to the north over the McPherson Range. The Tweed Valley, effectively a caldera, was formed from the now extinct volcano of Mount Warning. Traditionally known by the first nations Bunjalung people as Wollumbin. The Tweed Valley is blessed with art galleries, beautiful beaches, rainforests, great food, waterfalls, hiking trails, tranquil villages and the list goes on or you can just stay on our farm and enjoy the peace and quiet with the cows and chooks. Our closest village is Chillingham, about a 10 minute drive, which has a general store for all your basic supplies (food, fuel, bottle shop) and the famous Banana Cabana fruit shop. Murwillumbah is around a 30 minute drive. You will be staying in a renovated old school bus.It is completely off grid with solar 240 volt power, gas hot water/ stove and gravity feed rainwater. It has a king size bed with linen provided, shower, kitchen, bar fridge and microwave. The Bus site is up a steep all weather gravel road for the last 300 meters so only accessible by 4x4/ All Wheel Drive vehicles. We are happy to assist with transport for luggage/groceries etc in our AWD but if you wanted to come and go it would be a short walk to your vehicle. Our old farm shed is nearby which can be used to stretch out although it does leak a bit in heavy rain so you will have to pick your spot. There is a flushing toilet in the shed using dam water.Firewood is provided for a small camp fire.

What a beautiful slice of heaven. Cristian and I enjoyed our stay at the bus so much that we booked it for a 2nd night! The bus was beautifully decked out with everything we needed and more. The cows came to visit us on our 2nd night which really made our day. We will certainly be back ❤️

Such a beautiful property with epic, mountainous views. The bus is so well decked out and makes for a very comfy stay. Adrian is a legend and has great recommendations for surrounding spots to visit. The cows are very cute and came to visit us by the fire on our first night. Would highly recommend to anyone! Thanks for having us Adrian & Lesley!

One of the Best !
Our stay in this renovated old school bus was absolutely magical! The attention to detail was incredible, with a king-size bed, modern kitchen, and a cozy shower. The bus is powered by solar energy and complemented by gas hot water and rainwater. The hosts were incredibly helpful, polite , and the nearby farm shed added extra space for relaxation. The provided firewood made our campfire nights unforgettable. This bus is a hidden gem for a unique and serene retreat!

We loved staying for the weekend! The owners are really kind, helpful and stock the facilities generously. The camp has amazing views from sunset to sunrise. We are bus…..ting to get back and stay again. So peaceful and absolutely bliss for a romantic weekend away. We were able to feed the cows, take a walk, have a chill night by the campfire, and enjoyed the very unique bus setup!
