Star Hosts are highly rated, responsive, and committed to providing incredible experiences.
We are situated in Nymboida next to the Nymboida River, looking down the valley, surrounded by farmland and bush with very peaceful gardens on the property. There are many things to do in the river, from fishing to kayaking. We have two kayaks and a canoe that people can borrow and take down to the river, where you'll also find several large swimming holes and some nice walking trails along the river and in the reserve. We have a wonderful amount of bird life on the property. At last count we've identified approximately 30 different bird species, so it's a great place for those interested in nature and birds. We have several different areas to set up a tent or caravan/camper trailer, sit and read or cook a BBQ, or just relax and enjoy the views. We provide access to our outdoor kitchen area, and also have a recreational area set up in the shed for Hipcampers to relax in, socialise, and find shelter should they need.We have several lovely areas on the property, amongst the gardens and trees, to either pitch a tent or park your caravan/camper. You're welcome to choose the spot that Campers have access to our well-set-up outdoor kitchen and BBQ. There is also access to a toilet and shower in our shed. Please note, just one caravan/camper trailer per booking. If you have multiple caravans in your group, you will need to book multiple sites.

The Hosts with the Mostest!
Only one world really - Woweee! We had a wonderful time at Ray and Bev's beautiful home - thankyou so so much. A very warm welcome, followed by a tour of the property and the insane features included in our trips stay price - including a fully equipped barn, beautifully renovated into a bar/lounge/kitchen and bathroom area, with and amazing shower, pool table, darts and TV... Then outside a BBQ any chef would be jealous of and a beautiful fire pit. Not only that, we were offered fresh produce collected by Bev's own hands - and 'bum nuts' from their chickens.... Spoilt rotten! A stones throw (literally) from a river where we had a giggle at some kayakers who had just returned from a white water trip, we saw a turtle, and swam In the crystal clear water. Icing on the cake is their beautiful dog Misty who just loves to be around people.... Bev and Ray just want their visitors to have the best time, and oooze that family welcome feeling... Thank you so much, people would be silly to pass this one by! Marnie and Gabe x

Exceptional
Ray and Bev went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. River was beautiful for a swim and their dog Misty was amazingly friendly and well behaved. We can’t wait to book in again. Would highly recommend staying.

G.O.A.T Hosts
Absolutely stunning place, hesitant to write a review to keep others away. 😉. Bev greeted us at the gate and showed us around the area and inside the shed and offered full use of the facilities. Made us feel very much at home. The yard is immaculate and access to the river is a short walk, once at the river there is plenty of space to enjoy the day. An absolute piece of paradise. And we thank both Ray and Bev for sharing their beautiful property. I was organising our next trip while we were still out there.

Best Hipcamp Ever
Hands down the best Hipcamp we have experienced. From the moment we got there Ray & Bev were there to help us with levelling our van. We been fairly new to caravaning we so appreciated their knowledge. The property is immaculate - we were blown away with the effort these 2 hosts dedicate to keeping their property so neat, tidy & attractive. The Nymboida River is a 3 minute stroll away with beautiful clear water - canoes at the ready & a beautiful resident dog called Misty who will keep you entertained - boy does she like the water especially fetching river rocks. You can purchase fresh eggs & firewood. Immaculate hot shower & toilet. The games room has everything on offer including pool table, darts, comfy lounges, fantastic outdoor bbq & all kitchen essentials are provided. Oh, & if you like to hit a golf ball - Misty Dog will fetch your ball.

Absolutely lovely place to pitch up! The kitchen was incredible and the bathroom so spacious with a fantastic shower. Ray and Beverley were such fabulous hosts….nothing was too much trouble but they have thought of everything…..this is one of our top places to visit from now on! The river is a short walk and crystal clear as well as surprisingly warm too! Loved it!
