Primitive camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
This is a bush camp site with no facilities. We can only accommodate caravans which have their own inside toilet and shower. (Sorry no camper trailers or tent camping at this stage).
There is a convenient dump point located at nearby Woodburn for disposal (just 10mins away).
The road down to the campsite is 4wd only and you will need a UHF.
Take your pick of our flat campsites which all have frontage to Rocky Mouth Creek. Beautiful spot to get away from it all and to sit back and enjoy the peace and tranquility of nature.
There is a variety of bird life for you to enjoy, including black swans, ducks, kookaburras and blue cranes. We also have a family of brolgas that visit as well as two jabirus. Spot the water dragons as you watch the sunrise each morning.
Bring your kayak and enjoy a leisurely paddle in the creek. Or you can go mountain biking at The New Italy Mountain Bike Park which is just 10 minutes down the road.
Campfires are permitted in the mornings and evenings outside of any restrictions.
We are a working cattle farm so can welcome small dogs only. No motor bikes.
