The Rapids Campsite
Stephen and Sharon keep their property beautifully maintained. It is an amazing piece of countryside on the Clarence, our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rapids campsite and would love to come back one day. Highly recommend this spot.

Silky Oak Campsite
We booked in to Silky Oaks but we got updated to Rapids campsite and it was fantastic. It gets the early morning sun before any other site and that is terrific in winter. Weather was terrific and Sharon and Stephen are the best hosts. it was uncrowded, amenities were good and the firepits all have cooking grates. If you want to chill out and do nothing or go bushwalking or swimming (it was a bit chilly) this is the place

Silky Oak Campsite
Perfect!
Secluded, quiet and private. Silky Oak is situated between the toilet and shower, both about a minute walk away. Private walkway to the river. Freshly mowed area, large enough for a few vans or tents. Established fire pit. Amazing views. Highly recommended!

Cascades Campsite
Right on the Clarence
Lovely site right next to the river. Worth the drive down the track. Our main criteria for camps are privacy and feelings of isolation - we don't want to hear or see the neighbours!!. Not sure that it would be a choice for peak times but would be fabulous for groups, families etc.

The Rapids Campsite
We simply cannot get enough of this incredible place! This was our 3rd time back to Clarence River Wilderness Lodge, and it still took our breath away, and we still found new things to explore. This time, we brought my parents along to show them this glorious part of Australia, and needless to say, they were as blown away by it as we are. CRWL is perfectly placed to take in the most spectacular natural beauty of the landscape. The campsites themselves are so beautifully cared for, yet still give that feeling of being in the remote wilderness. Sharon and Steve were, as always, wonderfully attentive, friendly, informative and welcoming hosts. We will be back, and already looking forward to exploring more of their amazing property!
