Recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp is great for families and kids.
Located at Mandalong, a small rural community near the town of Morisset and west of Lake Macquarie, New South Wales. We offer campsites and glamping. Glamping @ Emerald Park means nothing better than relaxing. Imagine having your own glamping tent waiting for your arrival for the duration of your stay on a private property with amazing views. The established green 112 acre equine property has the Watagan Mountains as the backdrop. We are approximately 5 minutes off the M1 Motorway and 1 hour drive north of Sydney.  For those wanting to explore further, we are 40 minutes out from the Hunter Valley and a nice drive to stunning local beaches, cafes and restaurants. Groups welcome! Special events, weddings birthdays, family gatherings - just ask.

Emerald Park Camp
We will be back soon!
Absolutely loved our stay at this charming campsite! The highlight for us was the delightful company of the friendly farm dogs, who quickly became beloved companions throughout our stay. The kids were over the moon with excitement as they got to pat and interact with horses. Overall, our time here was nothing short of fantastic, and we can't wait to return for another unforgettable adventure!

Excellent hosts, beautiful night!
We had a great experience especially the beautiful night sky with the galaxy in view! Great place for a quiet getaway with group of friends just sitting around and chatting.

Emerald Park Camp
We loved our overnight stay at this stop. We had the whole place to ourselves. The kids loved patting the horses and exploring the area. You are met on arrival to be shown where to go and on departure. Staff are very friendly and helpful with questions. The grounds are well kept and we found a perfectly levelled spot for our caravan next to the little dam. Next time we will hopefully be able to stay longer!

Emerald Park Camp
Nice outlook, close & convenient to town & Lake Macquarie. Unfortunately camping paddock not mowed. Found the dam ourselves shown on the site by using goggle maps. 20 acres of camping paddock but unfortunately most not mowed. Very long grass unsuitable for camping.
