The off-grid cabin is over 100 meters away from the main house providing you with a feeling of space and seclusion. The cabin faces west so you get to see gorgeous sunsets in the afternoon. The shower and toilet is accessed via the verandah and is right next door to the cabin.
The front gate to the property is always closed but not locked so please let yourselves in and close behind you so the cows don't escape. Follow the driveway a couple of hundred metres, past a black shed and a little further on you come to a hill which you can drive up and park close to the cabin. You may need a 4wd to access up the hill in rainy weather. If you prefer you can park at the bottom and walk up the hill to the cabin.
There are plenty of things to do around the local area, with lots of waterfalls, hikes and places to go for picnics.
Our place is 30 minutes to Byron Bay, 20 minutes to Mullumbimby, 10 minutes to Clunes Village Shop and Cafe, 10 minutes to Federal Village & Restaurant, and 10 minutes to Minyon Falls. So central and close to many cosy and beautiful places to explore on a day trip.
