Beautiful cabin nestled in the wood
This beautiful wooden cabin is nestled in the woods away from everything!
We enjoyed a long weekend with our kids and dog. We loved the space immensely. It is near Winslow National Park with great hiking trails.
Lorraine was helpful in providing additional information.

Unplug and enjoy!
We enjoyed our 2-day stay at Unnplaged cabin and highly recommend it.
The cabin has everything that you need to spend a relaxing time in nature. Don´t be afraid of no electricity - there are plenty of flashlights + you can always make a fire outside. We appreciated the grill a lot.
Very clean and pleasant. Communication with the host, Lorraine, was smooth.

Quick getaway
It was private and relaxing to hand out at the cabin and near the cabin. The screened porch was the best part so that bugs don't get in! Lorraine met us and made sure we have everything and checked in also. We loved our stay and all the supplies we needed were inside so that was a nice surprise!

My partner and our pup had a great time here! It was quiet, clean, and thoughtfully stocked. We had a great mix of hanging out at the cabin (reading! Cooking! Hot chocolate!) and hiking in nearby Great Gains forest. The perfect weekend getaway from Boston.

This whimsical cabin was the perfect place for us to unplug and appreciate the little things in life. Despite the cold temp, we stayed plenty warm and enjoyed moving around the various lanterns when the sun went down. Watching the sunset from the porch was a truly magical experience through the winter landscape covered in snow deep within nature.

The Unplugged cabin was truly a home away from home to us and we will surely be back. Fresh air, quality time, stunning sunsets, bonfires, deep talks, plenty of laughs and what felt like the longest most relaxing days and nights. We wanted to get away and recharge right before the beginning of the school year and this place didn’t disappoint. Lorraine is THE BEST host!!

Unplugged was a tranquil treat! We loved our stay, especially our little pup who loved sitting on the porch on the look out for wildlife. The cabin was stocked with everything you need and was as cute as can be.

What a great weekend!
I brought my little backpacking stove, and cooking supplies and had no need for any of it! Loraine’s offgrid getaway is the perfect place to reconnect with nature while not being forced to eat sad off grid food and sleep in a tent in the rain.
We had a lovely fire in the large firepit which the warmth of seemed to attract every toad in the tri-state area which proved our city dog is indeed a city dog. We stumbled upon a white water river festival in Franklin; and went swimming in a private cove of lake winnisquam with the pup. An amazing weekend all around.
Cabin is beautiful and well stocked with battery powered lamps and cookwear etc. Comfy bed. Awesome stairs to the loft that makes it so you don't have to climb a ladder OR crouch (you can stand up the whole time)

Perfect Peaceful Getaway
The perfect peaceful and serene getaway! The cabin is secluded and stocked with everything you need. We were able to grill, play games, lounge on the hammock swing on the screened in porch, hike to a waterfall nearby and end the night with a toasty campfire. Lorraine was an amazing host! Greeting us upon arrival with a bright smile and making us feel so welcome.

Perfect cozy little space. Love it!
Lorraine’s cabin was the sweetest little cabin in a perfect location for privacy, peaceful quiet and nature. She was very accommodating and kind. The little buddy heater kept the place toasty warm even though it was freezing and very windy. I will definitely be enjoying this space again in the future. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes nature and doesn’t mind a bit of roughing it!!

We stayed the two days after the first big snowstorm of the year. Because of the snow we couldn't drive down to the cabin so we piled our stuff into a large sled, put on snowshoes and walked a few hundred yards to Unplugged. A real winter experience. The cabin is all by itself in the woods, a beautiful setting. The cabin heated nicely with the gas stove and there were several battery powered lanterns which provided plenty of light. We had a campfire one evening with lots of wood provided. There's a wide assymetrically shaped stairway to the loft which beat the usual ladder. The out house is about 10 steps from the door of the cabin. All in all, a wonderful place.

Great affordable serene cabin!
Lorraine is a great host and the cabin was plenty warm with the heater provided during our November stay! It has a great rustic charm with plenty of space and lovely scenery. Her jam was also great!

I cannot say enough about this trip! The cabin was more stunning in person. Its so remote i forgot there was a house near me. Lorraine had everything available at the cabin - I was totally overpacked. I could have been fine with some clothes and food. I didnt have service (TMobile) in most of the town - with the exception of a spot on the driveway. It was so nice to be completely disconnected. Lorraine and her husband were beyond welcoming. My pups and i had a great, relaxing time. Theres a walking trail down the street, great pizza place and ice cream shop. I am already planning for my next trip. This has been the best trip ive taken so far. Thank you so much!

We had a very relaxing stay at Lorraine’s cabin. Totally off grid with no electricity and minimal cell service. The cabin has everything you need (pots, pans, utensils, linens, etc).

Cozy Cottage Among the Trees
Stayed at this lovely cottage for a wknd with my two kids and pup and had a great time. Lorraine and Jay were very friendly and accommodating, cottage was clean and cozy and the setting beautiful. There is a pretty lake and bike trail less than 2 miles walk, little town w/ pizza and ice cream abt 5 mile drive. Kids had a ball swimming, hiking, roasting marshmallows. My favorite part was settling into the super comfy bed up in the beautiful loft among the trees, no cell phone, no ipad, no TV...best sleep I've had in ages. Hope to be back!

Perfect weekend getaway
Had an unbelievable stay at "Unplugged"! Lorraine and her husband Jay were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout the trip. If we had any questions, they were quick to respond and make our stay as comfortable as possible. In freezing February temperatures, the cabin was supplied with all we needed to stay warm and cozy throughout the weekend. Cooking was made easy with the supplied cookware to use on the small grill and camp stove. Would highly recommend this site - already thinking about going back!

Amazing, quiet getaway
Lorraine's cabin in the woods was even better than expected! The cabin was so cute and really spacious. The site is really private and the screened in porch is great to enjoy a nice night outside. Lorraine's hospitality was exceptional as well. We'd love to stay there again!

Beautiful, peaceful getaway
We had the greatest time staying at Lorraine's cabin. She was so accommodating to us and helped make sure we had a wonderful experience. The cabin was located in a secluded area of her property, so there was plenty of privacy. Despite us staying there during the hottest weekends of the summer, it was still very comfortable without electricity (thanks to the battery operated fans). Our pup also LOVED that the cabin was dog-friendly. Definitely a weekend we will cherish!

The Beautiful Andover Cabin
The thing i love about new hampshire is the ever changing scenery and atmosphere. The andover unplugged cabin can withstand anything new england can throw at it.
When you arrive at Lorraine’s (the host) house she will welcome you with a warm smile and a kind voice. When we first met her she had homemade muffins and jam in hand. The cabin is located in a valley below the house. In the spring summer and fall months it’s accessible with any vehicle. It is a steep descent so in the winter if you don’t have some form of awd/4wheeldrive you’re better off walking down over getting stuck.
Once we arrived at the cabin, which was situated on a nice flat area, our host gave us a tour and showed us all the amenities she provided. The space is dog friendly as long as they’re left on the leash. Our pup koda was so excited and enjoyed the surrounding area. There’s a compostable out house steps from the cabin as well as a picnic table and a fire pit. If you want a shower our host provided her own personal shower back up at the house.
I would recommend this place to anybody who wants to enjoy the epitome of what new hampshire has to offer while not having to drive too far off the beaten path. While we were only there for one night, it was long enough to realize how special a place and space this really was.
