Fox Glacier TOP 10 Holiday Park offers a scenic Glacier Country base for campervans, caravans, RVs and tent campers, set across spacious grounds with views towards the Southern Alps. The park offers all-weather powered sites, premium powered sites, EV powered sites, hard-surface unpowered sites for vans and caravans, and grass unpowered sites specifically for tents. Powered sites are set on flat ground with a mixture of hard surfaces and grass and cater to campervans, caravans, vans and long-wheelbase vehicles. Guests have access to modern shared bathrooms with underfloor heating and free hot showers, large communal kitchens, a dining area with wood burner, free gas BBQs and a 24-hour guest laundry. Guests can also enjoy the playground and games room. Free unlimited WiFi is available throughout the park, along with a 24-hour guest laundry, secure storage for bags and bikes, fun bike hire and e-bike hire.

We have a variety of sites available for campervans, vans and motorhomes. All sites are on flat ground with a mixture of hard surfaces and grass. Drive-through sites are also available for longer vehicles. There is lots of outside seating, and all powered sites are situated close to the amenities blocks. The views are stunning and from some locations you’ll even have a view up the Fox Glacier valley to Mt Cook.

Superior 2 Bedroom Motel

We had a brilliant stay here and can't recommend it enough. We booked the Luxury Two Bedroom Apartment, and it was genuinely fantastics. Clean, comfortable, and amazingly well equipped. Great value for money. The reception staff went above and beyond, offering a warm welcome and sharing fantastic tips for local walks and sights.

Standard Cabin

Wow what an amazing find! I am just ending my 3rd and final night in a standard cabin is the Holiday Park and as a single woman travelling alone it has been great. The staff are welcoming and friendly on arrival and that vibe just continues through the kaupapa of the place. Everyone staying here respects the facilities available and it is easy to negotiate the shared facilities even when it is humming. I highly recommend this top 10

Unpowered Sites

This camp is fantastic if you're traveling in a motor home or small caravan. We however have a large Jayco caravan and found it difficult for parking as the sites are very small. The service was great however.

Standard Cabin

This place was a brilliant choice for our family, we booked a standard cabin and used the shared amenities. Everything was clean and tidy. The staff are amazing let us know everything we needed and even the road conditions the morning we left. The kitchen was so warm from a fire going at the end of the room. Our room was warm the beds super comfortable. The family shower room was amazing, we have never come across this before but it made it so easy for us with our son with limited abilities. Thankyou for having us we definitely wished we stayed longer and will be back.

This is an excellent camp ground with easy access to the local town, glacier lookout and lake Matheson. The standout was the facilities which were very well equipped. There were multiple shower and kitchen blocks which were great! Didn’t have to wait for showers or wait to use the kitchen areas.

Economy 1 Bedroom Motel

This is an outstanding and well equipped motel, I have booked a self contained cabin for 2 nights. The cabin is clean and comfortable. The next day when I find my rental car with some problem and ask the reception for urgent help. The staff are dedicated, well trained and with prompt response. A male staff even help me to check the car and advise a nearby garage for me to repair the car so that I can continue my trip. Many Many thanks.

Premium Powered Sites

We used their powered site for a small Jucy van. Site was busy when we arrived but staff were quick to get us checked in. Location is ideal. You are 5 minutes from Lake Matheson and 10 minutes for the viewpoint. Facilities are good. Kitchen was large and multiple bathroom and showers. Washer and drier takes 3x$2 coins. Overall it has a rustic feel and is well looked after!

Superior 2 Bedroom Motel

We had one of the family units, and it worked perfectly for us. The kitchen area was well equipped and it was nice to have a living area with the sofa and dining table. The reception staff were really helpful with local knowledge as well. The location was great and meant we could easily get to local attractions. An added bonus is the glowowrm nature walk that is 5 minutes up the road. We went after dark and there were an amazing number of glowworms, brilliant to see them at your own pace and in the wild.
