Milford Lake is the state's largest lake at over 15,000 surface acres. Every year, this lake draws hundreds of thousands of visitors who come for boating, fishing, and relaxing on Milford Lake's shores. Among the lake's 163 miles of shoreline, visitors will find sandy beaches perfect for swimming and enjoying the cool water during a hot summer or launching canoes, kayaks, and other personal watercraft. There are 14 public boat launches around the lake for launching larger sailboats, fishing boats, or pleasure boats.
If you're coming to Lake Milford, be sure to pack a fishing rod. One of the most popular activities at the lake is fishing. The most popular gamefish include Wipers, Walleye, Crappie, Largemouth, Smallmouth Spotted Bass, Blue and Channel Catfish, and White bass. Whether you're an experienced angler or a complete beginner, you'll catch your limit at Milford Lake. Multiple state records have been pulled from its waters.
