We are located just off the Horrocks Highway on the way to the Clare Valley amongst 42 acres of peppermint gum scrub sheltered by the ranges west of Tarlee. Here you will find lovely spread out camping spots with plenty of space to explore, quiet country roads for walking or riding with spectacular views of the ranges and valley as well as Kangaroos, Kookaburras and more native wildlife. Bush camping at its best. Firewood available to purchase on arrival, $25 for a large container and fire drums are provided. NO CHAINSAWS A beautiful peaceful spot with plenty of space for caravans, campers, tents and swags. We have a flock of sheep, Crystal our horse who loves attention and a pat as well as chooks and eggs to pick up, children love to ride their push bikes down the hills and through the tracks. Our scrub is perfect for outdoor imagination and bundles of energy. Campers have made cubbies in the trees, tyre swings and set up hammocks for lazy afternoons or a swing. Pick a site that suits you best, set up camp, light a fire and sit back and relax. Pet friendly. Long drop toilet available.

All round great campsite. The sites are well spaced out. Very well maintained toilet facility. Would highly recommend.

Such a beautiful & peaceful spot!!
We loved our time at Tarlee - Serenity! We didn’t want to come home. There was the friendliest dog Kellie, who our daughter was obsessed with! We got to feed their lovely horse Crystal and the sheep as well. Also - can’t forget the chickens we got to collect fresh eggs from, which was lovely. We loved being able to interact with the animals. Alison was so accomodating, thoughtful and kind. We loved being able to have a fire and purchase good quality firewood from Alison & Russell. We highly recommend camping at Tarlee - Serenity! It’s such a peaceful spot to getaway too and lots of space as well between campers. It’s obviously a very dry time of year in SA but regardless still had a brilliant time and we hope to visit again later in the year when it’s greener. Thank for having us! Chloe & Dustin.

Great stay
Russell and Alison were great hosts. They provided us with firewood that kept us nice and toasty throughout the night. We had a great companion in Kelly the Kelpie who kept us entertained. The drop toilet was very well maintained 😎 Highly recommend the place.
