"JALUM" FARM
Beautiful spot!!
Me and my boyfriend had the best time staying in our van at Karen’s. Even though we were only there for a night it was such a beautiful experience. We were greeted by the ponies and alpaca in the morning which was so lovely.
It was such a calm environment. We will definitely be back and will be telling all our friends too!

"JALUM" FARM
Disappointing
My brother and I booked for 2 nights but once we arrived we made the decision not to stay at all and left to find somewhere else. The toilet is not easily accessible, and we were expected to drive up a gravel road (400 metres) to access it and the shower and kitchen area. There is no shade for camping, and we struggled to find a flat area that didn't require us to drive over a ditch to access one. Horses are free to roam throughout the property, including the campsites which I was uncomfortable with. Highway noise can also be heard in the distance quite clearly, so this is not a 'peaceful' location. The 'facilities' are within the host's private home and access is through a gate. Signage is inadequate at the front of the property and hard to see when dark, and is along a busy country road. This is a 4WD property considering the gravel driveway and ditches, not suitable for 2WD low level cars. Far too expensive for what you get compared to other properties. More information should be included in the description with this property.

Awesome retreat not far from towns.
Karen is a great host, she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The place is beautiful, peaceful and with a great sense of family. We loved having the horses around, and the room was perfect for a small family. We enjoyed exploring the beach nearby as well.

Great spot for family camping! Karen was so accomodating and wonderful with our kids. Cheeky horses made the weekend fun for the kids and catching perch was relaxing for the Dad’s. Great spot for relaxation and incredibly safe for the kids. Thanks Karen for a memorable Easter. Can’t wait to head back to Jalum Farm!
