80km from Bridport · 11 sites · RVs, LodgingWelcome to a unique farm stay in the heart of St Helens, offering both a beautifully restored historic homestead and peaceful camping for self-contained travellers.
Steeped in history, the 1856 farmhouse is one of the earliest homesteads in the region, once supplying produce to the local whaling fleet. Today, it has been thoughtfully updated to provide a luxurious and relaxing escape, while still retaining its charm and character. The home features three bedrooms, including two with king beds and a third with a double bed and single bunk, making it ideal for families or small groups. The spacious master suite includes a walk-in shower and bathtub. Guests can enjoy a cosy living area with a smart TV, a fully equipped modern kitchen, and a large outdoor deck overlooking scenic farmland. The highlight is the outdoor entertaining space, complete with an elegant bar area and a spa bath – perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.
For those travelling with their own setup, we also offer camping across the property for fully self-contained guests (must have your own toilet). Set across 105 acres, there’s plenty of space to spread out, relax, and enjoy the natural surroundings. Campers have access to a communal fire pit, ideal for evenings under the stars. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times to protect livestock and wildlife.
Located just a short drive from the stunning Bay of Fires, the Pyengana Cheese Factory, and world-class mountain biking trails, this property is perfectly positioned for both adventure and relaxation. Whether you’re staying in the homestead or camping under the open sky, this is a special place to slow down and enjoy the beauty of Tasmania’s east coast.
