We’re situated 55 km south of Glendambo and 63 km north of Pimba. Turn in at the Wirraminna Station sign between the 55 km and 50 km markers heading toward Glendambo. Enjoy wide open space perfect for pets, kids on bikes, footy or cricket—and a true outback red dirt experience. There is Telstra 5G phone service (no Optus). While there’s no dump point, we do offer two self-contained units near the homestead - booking in advance. A communal firepit is available—donations toward firewood are appreciated, and we aim to provide a supply each afternoon. Come experience the peaceful, spacious, and welcoming atmosphere of Wirraminna Station.

Wirraminna Station is a fantastic stopping point. We stayed for one night on our way from Port Augusta to Coober Pedy. Perfectly level, drive-through sites. Gorgeous aspect in every direction! We felt very safe here, and the whole site is beautifully clean and tidy. Stacey left a good pile of firewood for us, for only the cost of a donation. Instructions for finding the station were excellent. Stacey is a terrific host!

Weekend Trip to Wirraminna Station

Excellent stop over between Coober Pedy and Port Augusta. Quiet, off the highway, easy 2 km super accessible dirt road even suitable for 2wd. communial firepit with wood provided. Can't go wrong staying here! Definitely recommended and don't forget to check out Lake heart which is only 7km away.

We stayed as a rest stop between Peterborough and Coober Pedy, it was easy to find and pull in to a spot, was very quiet and felt safe. Great communication from Stacey as well.
