Set on prime beachfront land in the Copper Coast Triangle of the Yorke Peninsula.  We are a convenient 164 km north-west of Adelaide, 17 km from Kadina, and 18 km from Wallaroo. 

Moonta Bay Holiday Park is situated on 2 levels of west facing foreshore land with 188 metres of absolute beach frontage. Aside from Moonta's history, the area is renowned for pristine safe swimming beaches, clear blue waters & rewarding fishing from the beach, jetty, or boat.

At Moonta Bay Holiday Park you will find the perfect location either on the cliff top overlooking the bay or the the lower level with the beach at your feet.

SINGLE AND DOUBLE PEDAL KARTS  Pedal Karts can be Hired for a small fee Helmets Supplied. Bookings can be made at reception.

FISHING CLEANING AND CRAB COOKING BAYS  Located on both levels of the park, both areas are equipped with double stainless steel sinks and 50lt kegs converted into crab cookers. All you need is your gas bottle, or available to be hired from reception.

PET-FRIENDLY Pets are welcome on our powered and unpowered sites, however, they are not permitted in or around our cabin accommodation.

ASSISTED AND BABIES FACILITIES  Located on the upper level these facilities cater to those who may require assisted facilities. A clean fresh baby's bathroom is located next door so all guests can be assured their needs are met and their stay is comfortable.

LAUNDRY  Located on the upper and lower level of the park our machines are coin-operated and washing powder is available to purchase from our office. Clotheslines are also situated at all amenities blocks.

DUMP POINTS  Undercover Dump points are conveniently located on the upper and lower of our caravan park.

Camp with Horses close to the Beach


Bring your camper and your horse; there's no need to leave your equine friend behind! Port Parham Beach is just 4 kilometers away, renowned for its crabbing and horse riding along the shore. 

We offer secure new steel yards for your horses, and our 75-acre property includes a horse track for those who want to have a race. You can just see the ocean views from certain parts of the property, and explore numerous quaint towns in the surrounding area. Meet Plutus, our resident horse.

Please note that guests must be fully self-contained with their own toilet and shower facilities, and they are required to take all waste with them upon departure. Pets are allowed on a leash. Campfires are welcome in the provided fire pit; just bring your own fire pit.

No need to be naked at our campsite, but the understanding of the nudist lifestyle MUST be respected!
What we have on offer:
45 acres of natural bushland, nudist/clothing optional camping, no 240v connection, shower/toilets, rainwater for drinking/cooking, camp sheds and garden, firewood included with group fire pit and fireplace in social shed (fire restrictions apply) pet friendly (must be leashed or controlled and pick up after pet) local beach access 7km away from camp, reading material and guest book provided, locked gate for extra safe access from visitors only, must have 24hrs notice before access is available.

Ballara Art & Lifestyle Retreat

A brief history of Ballara...Ballara is the 100-year-old family home built for William and Emilia (Millie) Baker & their five children. Built in 1910, it is understood Millie would not come to Warooka until the house was finished and furnished! Wise woman!William Baker came to Warooka as a young boy in 1884 with his mother, sister and 2 brothers, after the sudden death of his father.In the early 1900s, Will and his brother Alf became storekeepers, trading as Baker Bros. and running 2 stores in Warooka. Will, Alf and younger brother, Tom, also went on to become farmers.William met Millie when she came from Ballarat to visit her sister who lived at Warooka. Millie named her new home 'Ballara' in memory of her home town.A feature of the house is its ornate ceilings, and story has it that visitors came from afar especially to view them.William ran a wheat agency from an office on the front verandah and was also a contact for World War 1 recruitment.In 1927, William sadly died at only 50 years of age, leaving Millie on her own with their 5 children Doreen, Dulcie, William jr. (Bill), Ron, and Betsy.Millie died in 1965 and Ron continued living at Ballara until his death in 1988.Having never married and with no children of his own, Ron left the house and contents to his 10 nieces and nephews.After the family furniture was divided, Bill bought the house and placed it in the names of his three daughters.Carli and Penny were both able to enjoy some time living in the family home. Ballara still remains in the Baker family and is currently being cared for by Bill’s youngest daughter, Steph.
