Welcome to the Gold Cabin! This bungalow was built in the early sixties, but much of the timbers came from Sierra Valley barns from the 1800's. Located at the confluence of the Yuba River and Haypress Creek, the house opens up to the sound of rushing waters and chirping birds. Skiing, biking, hiking are just steps awayWelcome to the Lost Sierra Bungalow! This cabin was built in the early sixties, but many of the timbers came from Sierra Valley barns from the 1800's. Located at the confluence of the Yuba River and Haypress Creek, the house opens up to the sound of rushing waters and chirping birds. The heart of the cabin is the spacious great room, perfect for relaxing, cozying up by the wood burning stove, playing games, dancing & sharing meals. The country kitchen provides all the essentials to craft a tasty meal and opens onto a large deck to BBQ and enjoy the outdoor dining table under the lights & stars. The kitchen includes a four burner stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, pots/pans, dishes and utensils, wine opener, garlic press, spices & oils, etc. There is one bedroom (with a queen bed) and one bathroom (with a claw-foot tub & shower) downstairs. Upstairs, there is another bathroom and three bedrooms (one queen, one full, and the "kids" room with two twins). All bedrooms have linens and extra blankets for chilly evenings. In the spring, summer & fall, hiking & biking trails of all levels are close by. Easy access to the Yuba River provides world-class fishing & swimming. In the winter, we have sleds to borrow & there are plenty of great spots to explore by snowshoe, cross-country ski or snowmobile. To note, the cabin does not have a TV. There is however, great wifi, so bring your own screens if you'd like :) And finally, please care for our old cabin as if it were yours and leave it in the clean condition that we have provided for you. It truly is a special place and we want to make it available for guests for many years to come. (with your help of course!) Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have :)

Magical Lost Sierra Bungalow!
This cabin is such a gem! Spacious layout that was very comfortable for the 8 of us. It was snowing when we went up so the fire place was perfect and we got to take walks out in the snow to enjoy the beautiful surroundings! Lots of trees and a beautiful small river just steps away from the cabin. A real cozy at home vibe with all the things you need for cooking, showering, and entertainment. We were all thorough impressed and would love to come back in the summer. The host is very easy and quick to get a hold of with any questions. Thank you for providing us with such a fantastic experience and weekend we will never forget.
