I love the campsite so much, such a unique experience to have. I love the vibe of the campsite. Mikey and JoAnne are such amazing hosts, their dogs are super friendly. I would definitely come back for the people and the nature. Such unforgettable experience to have ❤️!!

Site 2 - LovelightTentsite & Car Camping
What a spectacular and quirky property! We were greeted at the gate by the owner and their friendly dogs and guided to our spot to camp.
There are SO many little lovely nooks and crannies on this property to explore including an elevated platform with a bed to watch the sunset or stare at the stars, a beautiful lighted dining area, communal kitchen with wood fired pizza oven, above ground pool, and more.
When we come back to Palm Desert we absolutely plan on staying here again.

Oasis
Funky, ramshackle spread in the desert.
Spent time looking at the moon and stars sipping a beer on the sky deck after a long day of driving and that was exactly what was needed. You can tell it's a labor of love. Mikey's a great host. Trade some stories with him. And the dogs are a joy.

Attention dog lovers and dogs you
have reached paradise. This hunky slice of 5 acres land is indescribable. If you have played the game "Fallout 4" you will appreciate this place much more. Mikey has done an amazing job designing not just a place to sleep but a place to to get away from the stress of the city. Joshua tree is about 1 hour away and you can take your dog to Keys View (allowed) and anywhere that's 100 feet from the main roads while on leash. I climbed a few huge boulders with them. Read the pamphlet from the visitors center to learn more about the rules regarding dogs. Sorry love my dogs and want others to know their options
