Interesting fact: Our homestead is located on the McConihe Flats. 1200 years ago the Sinkiuse Indians would meet on the McConihe Flats and trade. They would also collect things along the shore of the lake such, as duck eggs and reeds, which are still around today. We are conveniently located between Moses Lake and Ephrata Washington. Only 12 minutes from either town where you can find Walmart, other stores, and resturants for all your needs.

Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry). We offer three listings - a converted schoolbus, retro trailer, and tent spot. Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk). Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy. Battery operated lights are provided. Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower. Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. Bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk). Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis. We are less than 2 hours from Seattle, 1 hour to Yakima wine country, 40 minutes to Vantage, 40 minutes to Leavenworth, 50 minutes to Snoqualmie Pass, 15 minutes to Ellensburg, 25 minutes to Roslyn, 25 minutes to Yakima River Canyon for floating and hiking, and so much more!

Quiet and private for groups to hang out and enjoy the area, hiking, exploring, and enjoying the night sky. We often kayak at Easton State Park or at Cooper Lake and then come back to this private camp area away from the crowds. Huge parking and camping area where 10+ vehicles and RVs can easily drive to and park before heading out on the trail or use as a base camp to enjoy the peaceful mountains around you and explore are area around you. You will enjoy the peaceful hills and unobstructed views of a stary night sky. No electrical or water hookups. The internet service via T-Mobile is incredible on 4/18/2024 I was getting the following at the entrance of the camp area: 80 - 181 Mbps Down 5- 10.2 Mbps Up

Let the sound of Peshastin Creek lull you to sleep at night after a long day of fun in the Leavenworth area. Area attractions include tubing, hiking, climbing, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, skiing, and shopping. The campground is a quick 15 minutes from downtown Leavenworth on year-round plowed roads. Both campsites are complete with water as well as 30A power hookups, and a fire pit. Feel free to take a dip in the creek to cool down! A port-a-potty is also available for use by guests and is refreshed weekly.

Come relax and enjoy the views of the Columbia River and the North Cascades. Plenty of sunshine with epic sunsets, our property is where you come to unwind and soak in the sun when the east side of the Cascades is socked in with clouds and rain. If you want to explore the area, it's about a 10-minute car ride to the Columbia River and 20 minutes to Chelan and all that is offered there. Our favorite activities when we visit are to listen to the birds chirp and take in the surroundings. There are several lava rock piles that speak to the long and volcanic geological history of the area. We also really enjoy walking the dirt road on the ridge. It provides some of the most incredible views in the area. The dirt road section over the ridge can be a little rough and dusty and it's recommended that guests have a medium clearance vehicle, such as a Subaru Outback. However, a guest once drove their Honda Civic down to the site, so it really depends on your comfort level. If in doubt, just ask! We have a security camera on site we use for wildlife sightings and to check the weather. If the idea of having the camera bothers you, feel free to place a blanket or some other type of cover during your stay. We can also turn the camera to only face the entrance. Just let us know. Please respect the surroundings and others' property. There are several other vacation cabins in the area and everyone enjoys their peace and quiet. We provide a privy for guests to use, but be prepared to pack out waste in case it doesn't meet your standards. We try to keep it clean and stocked with TP, but we can only get out to the land every few weeks. If you're looking for peace and tranquility, Sagebrush Hollow is the place for you.

The power is 110v. We also have high speed WIFI making it easy to work from the campsite. Please note that we do not have water or sewer hookups. There are two picnic tables and a fire pit in a large open area. There is a creek running through the property and string lights leading to it. Our property is located approximately 18 miles west of Leavenworth and approximately 17 east of Stevens Pass. The property is 4.65 acres that includes a park that we created. We can accommodate RV's (up to 30 feet), camper trailers and tents. There is a 30amp hookup available and access to portable water. Good food and great beer go hand in hand throughout the summer in Leavenworth. Leavenworth offers delicious authentic German food and traditional German beer. There are some great breweries in town and wine tasting opportunities if beer isn't for you. Visit Lake Wenatchee State Park which is approximately 5 miles from Bear Acres. The lake is surrounded by mountains and is an excellent place for fishing, swimming, boating, and hiking. Explore Icicle Creek, which is not only a beautiful area to explore but offers a range of trailheads to various hiking trails. If you're really feeling adventurous, try hiking the popular and beautiful Enchantments. Whitewater rafting on the Wenatchee River is one of the most popular things to do in Leavenworth. The peak season is between May and June, while you’ll find a somewhat more relaxed experience throughout the rest of the summer. Nestled in the Cascade Mountain Range along the Pacific Crest Trail, summertime at Stevens Pass is full of activities. From hiking the Cowboy Mountain Nature Trail to an 18-hole disc golf course to mountain biking, there is something for everyone. With a variety of trails, mountain biking at Stevens Pass is suited for both beginner riders and the experienced biker. If enjoying the views is more your speed, enjoy one of the resort’s scenic chairlift rides.
