They set up my off grid, largely self sufficient, homestead.Learn more about this land:We have several semi secluded natural camping spots surrounded by young trees and thick underbrush. There's a small stream that runs through the property. Our homestead is right next door we have a large garden, sheep, and chickens. Eggs and fresh produce available for sale in season as available. We have 2 gas grills and a charcoal grill available for rent, just bring your own charcoal or propane tank (available at stores within 2 miles). The national forest is just on the other side of the highway and there are many hiking trails and streams nearby. The Hiwassee river is 1 mile away and the Ocoee river is about 15 miles. The Savannah Oaks Winery is just behind the property and the Amish market is just behind that. The nearest towns are Benton and Etowah each are almost exactly 10 miles in either direction. The Lost Sea, Mayfield Dairy farms, The River Maze, Hiawassee Rail Adventures, & many other attractions are nearby. We are not a commercial campsite, just a private homestead.

Our property is across the street from a scrap metal yard that opens too early.
