Base Camp- Tiny House

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood on .25 acre property, we have a 250 sqft Tiny house available for rent and plenty of room for 4 tents. Water, power, bathroom onsite, with room for pets and small rv/ trailer/ camper. Access private parks, with guest pass*, for fishing, swimming and more. Explore Olympic National Forest hiking and visit Lakes for boating, kayaking and all water activities. There's also a golf course!

*Guest Pass REQUIRED for Any private park access. Failure to bring pass can result in towing or fines. 

*Pass available at Check In. Fee applies!

The Yurt was very warm when it got cool at night. Very cozy!

Hood Canal Groovy Yurt

Mostly private three acres of open flat field. Cedar and pine trees, some garden, flowerbeds. Bats at dusk. Lots of stars at night. Lots of birds during summer. It's between Port Gamble Heritage Park and the Hood Canal bridge,   just off of Highway 3.

It was magical being surrounded by so much fragrance and beauty 

Jardin du Soleil Lavender Farm

Jardin du Soleil is a certified organic lavender farm situated on 10 acres of land. We specialize in small-batch craft essential oil. The farm is located next to hundreds of acres of protected land offering views and birdlife, the bald eagles fly over daily.

Close to area attractions, such as the Dungeness Spit, Olympic National Park, and several rivers.

The farm chickens and goats love to have Hipcampers and are pretty friendly. Thousands of visitors come to this farm during the bloom season (late June, July, and August) but can only stay during business hours.

Hipcampers have the unique opportunity to

enjoy the farm during the most magical

evening and morning hours.

Southfarthing Berry Camp

This 5 acre homestead was originally homesteaded in the 1890s.   It is still an active farm with goats, sheep, turkeys, chickens, guardian livestock dogs, cats and one Chihuahua.  There is also several permaculture/orchard areas, berry patches and a large garden.  We do offer 1 hour agritourism activities like farm tours, baby "Goat Yoga" and "Baby Goat Playtime" by reservation via the website.  

The area campers use is outside the barn yard, in the South orchard.  Near the county road and parking lot.  We're less than 30 minutes from the Kingston or Bainbridge Island ferry.  5 minutes from downtown Poulsbo, less than that from Central Market (the best grocery ever!). 

At this time, I do not have space for car camping or drive in campers, it is a walk in only site.  Also, we are under burn ban, so no fires. 

** Please note ** this is an active farm.  There are roosters and dogs, they are not close to you, but you can hear them depending on where they might be.  And, they are not mindful of the time.   We are also one property away from Bond Rd, so there can be road noise.
