Today we’re excited to share an update to the Hipcamp logo.
Our mission is to get more people outside, and one of the main ways we do this is by making the outdoors more welcoming and accessible to everyone.
The intention of refining our logo is to better align with this mission. Excitingly, the door to our tent is now officially open, illustrating that everyone is welcome outdoors. Feedback from our community surfaced concerns that our previous logo—an illustration of an A-frame tent and ode to early camping culture—was outdated and misleading. We heard you and believe this updated logo better represents Hipcamp and our values.
While it may seem like a subtle adjustment, this update is the result of hard, thoughtful work by many people. We’d like to share a special thank you to Brian Prince of Primate Design for his inspired insights and designs that helped lift our logo to match our aspirations for the community we are creating. Brian has created meaningful designs for many inspirational artists and leaders we admire, including Nahko and Medicine for the People and Xiuhtezcatl. And thank you to our friend and amazing activist Niria Alicia for making this collaboration a reality.
Happy camping!
