For the second year running, Cool Camping has been nominated as ‘Best Camping Holiday Company’ in the prestigious British Travel Awards, with voting now open to the Great British public.

As the largest travel awards programme in the UK, the British Travel Awards are widely considered the benchmark for excellence in the travel industry, with over 750,000 public votes each year. Last year the public backed Cool Camping to win the category of ‘Best Camping Holiday Company’ and this year we’re urging our customers to support us once again.

The nomination comes off the back of a busy year at Cool Camping basecamp, as we’ve worked with campers and campsite owners alike to help tens and thousands of you book holidays in the great outdoors. From supporting independent businesses after a difficult spring to guaranteeing flexible bookings with our Coronavirus Booking Guarantee, we’ve worked hard to provide not only the best camping experiences but the best online booking experience too.

It’s been quite the climb since the company was first born after an idyllic weekend camping in Wales in 2005. After 15 years, Cool Camping has blossomed from a publishing business selling best-selling guidebooks, to a hugely popular bookings service where customers can find, review and book their stay at the coolest campsites in the UK and Europe. We remain a small, independent brand, with fewer than 20 members of staff who each liaise personally with all campsite owners to ensure we offer the very best locations, as well as offering an award-winning service to our customers.
