Glendo Lake Glendo Reservoir is located on the North Platte River, 6 miles southeast of the town of Glendo, in Platte County. Additonal Amenities 5 cabins – $50 per night – Cabins are dry – the cabins have heat, air conditioning, microwaves and refrigerators – easy access to showers, rest room and laundry — bring your own bedroll. It was such a perfect, quiet spot to land heading to and coming back from our destination. Though right on the highway, it didn’t feel like it. We’d definitely stay again.

Though it’s right off the highway, it doesn’t truly feel that way. It’s a quiet, peaceful spot with large pull-through sites and big skies. It was perfect for our halfway destination.

Great little spot for an overnight. My only issue was the massive amount of ants which gathered at the services connection area. I’ll pack some ant spray in my rig from now on. Otherwise a great stay. Oh, and the Mexican restaurant in town is delicious! Definitely get the cheese as an appetizer.

It was a great place to stop for the night as we were headed to the black hills in South Dakota! Very open, no trees but was able to do some laundry, which was coin operated and very reasonable compared to others we have been to!

Dry desert, looks deserted. Couple of live in trailer owners. Needs mowing & edging. Not kept up at all. Needs severe maintenance. Would not recommend even at $10 daily.
