Angel Creek

Angel Creek is a great piece of land to camp on! We stayed at site 1 all the way in the back. These sites are private enough where you may hear your neighbors but not necessarily see them. Omar and Martin were sure to check up on everyone throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Porta potty’s were very clean and the grounds are maintained very well. Great place to camp for a weekend that’s a short drive from Chicago or the suburbs. Only wish was for a water spigot or place to refill our jug.

The camp site was comfortable and remote. We had amazing star gazing the first night and the port-a-pottys were in good condition. We would consider returning for another stay.

Great wooded camping area in bucolic agricultural part of Illinois. Omar and Martin were very helpful and communicative. We really appreciated the night time check in, and felt very welcome / safe. No tables at campsites, as a heads up.

This was an absolutely beautiful site. We got rained on, but as Washingtonians on a road trip, were unintentionally prepared for that to begin with and I loved the warm rain for a change. Very nice secluded spots easily big enough for a 6 person tent (maybe a 10, but that may run into the trees some)

Nice spots. Clean bathroom. Clear directions. I liked the option to add a table and firewood to our reservation. Both were waiting at our site when we arrived. I also liked the locked gate. Made us feel us and our belongings were safe.

Site C - Hike to Site - Max 4

Just wow!! This was such an amazing experience. It was our first time camping and it was so welcoming and peaceful. I would recommend 11/10. We met Omar’s dad and he was so wonderful & kind, he brought us firewood and helped us girls light it 🥹 restrooms were so close, clean & had a little puck light inside which helps alot if you dont happen to have a flash light with you. we stayed at site 7, perfect size for 2, had enough room for a 4-6 people tent, and two medium foldable tables. Perfect for star gazing. Car parking was so close, place was easy to find. Paid for early check in and it was so worth it, we only stayed one night but wished we had stayed longer! Also make sure to take a little hike to the creek 💫 I’m so excited to come back and bring our friends next time!

My 2 teenage kids and I camped in site 2 and we loved it! The grounds were well kept, and Omar is an exceptional host! The porta potty was also extremely clean. The sites were far enough from eachother that i felt it was private. Would camp here again!

Great Camping Experience & Awesome

We had an amazing time camping here. The property was peaceful, clean, and exactly what we were looking for. Martin was an excellent host and was always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. You can tell he truly cares about his guests and keeping the place in great condition. We felt very welcomed and comfortable during our entire stay. Definitely recommended if you’re looking for a relaxing camping experience. We would absolutely come back again!

Memorial Day Weekend Getaway Hit!

Site #1 is definitely at the farthest point of the land area, but it was an absolute dream! Having a direct path to one of the trails was amazing as well for me and my two doggos! Plenty of shade, but just enough visibility of those beautiful stars at night to make it all the worthwhile! Omar and his team were so accommodating and hospitable that it made it that much better! As a service member just trying to get away from the hustle and bustle on a Memorial Day weekend to just be in my peaceful element, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Thank you all so much! I definitely will be back again and will tell everyone how great it was!

Site 11 - On Site Parking - Max 6

Excellent spot! Perfect for small tent or those who camp in the back of their truck/van. Nearly all the way back of the campground so about as private as you can get at this camp. Full grow trees, well taken care of campground with very friendly hosts. Gate with lock at the entrance which is nice for safety. Trails that span the whole campground. Had a very pleasant stay! Thank you!

This was an amazing campsite! We enjoyed it so much and definitely recommend Campsite because it was more secluded and private. We felt safe and Martin was more than kind accommodating! We will definitely be back and 100% recommend this place!

Fantastic location. First time tent camping in Illinois with the kids. Had the firewood I ordered waiting on site. Omar and team were welcoming and provided great recommendations on hiking trails for me and the kids. Would highly recommend. Kids had a blast exploring.

The host was great and so friendly. We did have to leave around 10 pm as a neighboring property had "fireworks" going off periodically for a couple of hours and my dog was terrified. Not a fault of the campsite itself but wanted to put it out there in case you also have a dog afraid of loud sounds.

Site 10 - Park Near Site - Max 6

Overall is a good area…but the roads to get into the campsites are tight! My partner drives a dodge 3500 with 8’ bed and it was near to impossible to navigate into spot #10. Also he was 10’ from campsite #1 and #11 so just feet away from neighbors. If you have a big truck be prepared for lots of tight maneuvers.

NIce Private Campground

Omar and his dad are great and were sure to check in to see if everything is OK. The sites are generally on the smaller side, but plenty for a couple of tents and sitting around a fire. There is a lot of separation between the sites, though. There is one caveat, you have to bring your garbage with you, so prepare for that. I wish they just had a dumpster at the exit to allow for disposal (my only real complaint). Overall a fantastic experience, though.
