Perfect place for those wanting privacy! We had two young children with us who were new to camping, but had lots of space to run, and be children. Very large fire pit, two tables, and a private outhouse. Beautiful dock off the site, but not good for swimming. We went to Crater Lake, and swam there, but it was too deep for the toddler in our group. We spent some time at the local beach so they could play in the sand and the shallow water. Friendly and helpful hosts! Looking forward to coming back!

Camping on Danielle’s property was fantastic
I didnt end up camping at the pond side site but It is a beautiful open space great for an RV or large tent
Danielle upgraded me to the crater lake site which was located in a very wooded area with a short trail to crater lake.
All and all it was a great time camping and exploring the land.
The outhouse was close, newly built and spacious.

This place was awesome , quite, big space ,loot of free wood and big firepit.
The walkway to do dock its a bit steep but when u reach dock there its beutifull view on lake.

The location was beautiful and secluded from the other camp site. Everything was kept very clean and the people living on the site are extremely polite and willing to help or answer any questions or issues. Firewood was included in the Initial cost witch was very nice! All in all the place and the people where amazing!

Danielle was very responsive to messages. She was kind enough to upgrade us to the marble rock site as it was still available the night we went. All sites look lovely. The dock at the marble rock site was so lovely!

Beautiful, very private campsite, lots of space and room for the dog to run around. The campsite was free of all debris, picnic table on a small deck which was nice to have your feet off the ground, firewood stocked & big fire pit, clean outhouse and even included a child’s potty seat, short walk down the hill to the dock and a great place to put a chair and relax by the water! Would definitely go back again! Highly recommend this site!!

What a beautiful site. The lake is a great place for paddle boarding. The fact it had camp wood was a great bonus.

The site was ok: a nice clearing in the bush. Outhouse was clean. The nice big lake (Marble Lake) is about a km up the road and really hard to find the path. Crater lake site has a small path past the outhouse that leads to the swampy side of Crater lake. I have no idea where the nice swimming dock or canoes in the photos are hiding! Bring your own firewood as only rotten logs and brush are provided. Also suggest to bring your own water for washing dishes as swamp water too muddy for use.

Awesomely secluded spot.
Milky Way was visible with the naked eye, surrounded by forests with clearings to view the sky. Lake was clean and a great swim!
Hosts were very friendly and inviting.
Pond Side Site was a great little clearing in the forest and very private. Easy walk to the outhouse and lake.
From an avid camper, this is a great find!

Danielle's property is incredible and you can't go wrong with any of the sites as they are all separate and offer complete privacy to each group. The Marble Lake site has a picnic table, fire pit, firewood provided, and a private dock. The dock is quite shallow at Marble Lake for swimming, so to take a dip you just need to walk about 5 minutes to the Crater Lake dock which is beautiful for swimming.
This spot is way nicer and more spacious than any site I've ever stayed at in private campgrounds or provincial parks. It's priced more than fair and our group had such a wonderful time.

Very nice campsite, stayed there for one night while out on a motorcycle tour. The site was large enough for multiple tents. Very peaceful and quiet. Nice, clean outhouse. And the free firewood for your stay was an added bonus. Would highly recommend staying at crater lake site.

My luck Danielle generously offered the upscale Marble Lake site for larger groups as it was available during my single tent Pond Side booking. Spacious, very private and of course woodsy! A 30/40 metre winding downhill path to dock on very peaceful lake (early Sept. weekday). No swimming there but access to dock swim at their Crater Lake in front of Danielle's glorious post and beam house their family's been building over past few years. I didn't take their trail hike. 5 min. drive to Bon Echo Park with long trails. Pond Side site not what I was looking for so very happy the way things worked out. Hosts? Good people.

Crater Lake Site
Staying at Crater Lake was such a beautiful natural retreat! Some members of my group were relatively new to camping and Danielle's accommodations made it a very comfortable stay. The outhouse was super clean, the drinking water was easily accessible and the wood service was amazing!! The highlight for our group was definitely swimming in the lake! The kids would've stayed on the dock all day and all night if we'd let them. It goes without saying that I would stay here again in a hreatbeat. 5-star recommendation!

Beautiful time at the Crater Lake site! Would recommend this site to friends and anyone else considering! Danielle was very welcoming. My wife and I haven’t been camping in a long time and this was the perfect re-introduction. Each site is very private and very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed walks along the path(s) and the road. Didn’t have a chance to swim or canoe but will definitely do that when we return sometime in the fall. Thanks Danielle!!!

This was my first Hipcamp experience and it was great! My site was super private and quiet. Lots of space and nice view from the dock just down the hill.
Great for if you want to hike or adventure in Bon Echo Provincial park, 15 min drive away.

Crater Lake site is a little cute site, very secluded. It's like deep inside the forest. It has a new outhouse with toilet paper.😄 Very close to bon echo PP. I liked the eggs from Danielle. Wish I ordered more!

Our family enjoyed fishing, canoeing and swimming at the lake. The lake is pristine and perfect for swimming off the dock. The camp site is nestled in the woods and very private. Our kids enjoyed biking to the lake everyday and Danielle and family were great hosts. We would highly recommend this spot!

Pond Side Camping
Pond side camp was a nice, clean private site. Firewood was piled left for us, which was greatly appreciated.
The owner (sorry, couldn't remember his name) was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful.
This private site is close to town and Bon Echo.

Marble Lake Site
Our group of 4 had an awesome time camping out on the Marble Lake Site. It was a beautiful location, and Danielle was kind enough to provide use of their dock. As my first time using Hipcamp this was a very nice experience.
