Lake George Getaway is a small clearing with an outhouse and water tanks.
- site is rocky , difficult for tent staking
- highway adjacent is quite busy with many loud trucks
- nearest food is over 20 minutes away in convenience store in Harvey (mediocre).
- tree damage at south end of site
- intrusive lights from adjacent exurban residential properties
-light inside outhouse not functioning
-no sign at small overgrown driveway entrance
- garbage on site(picked up)

Nice large area, my suv and camper fit fine. Was private, the outhouse was spacious and clean and there was water available. The night sky was amazing and we hiked to two waterfalls nearby. Note- as Janel states, be on the lookout, i had a very hard time finding the actual drive even in daylight.

The host was very helpful. It is a stop near the highway. However, if you don’t get to the site before dark it is difficult to find the entrance as the site number is hidden by overgrown leaves. Also the fire pit is hard to see as weeds have grown around it and it is hard to find it. It was great to see that firewood was provided. Although the host did build an outhouse and provided basic essentials. However, the outhouse light was not working so I suggest bringing some flashlights along for the stay and the outhouse needs some cleaning. The portable water was half gone but I wouldn’t trust it as it probably was there for a long time. The site was overpriced. It is just ideal for a quick stop.

Nice flat spot to pitch a tent, far enough from the highway that there wasn't noise from it, and it was super close to Denny's (definitely recommend this dinner if your in the area).

Worked perfectly, it was just like the images shown as expected. The shed is cleared out and they’ve added additional paneling. I thought it was a great camp site!

This site was a great part of our Eastern Canada road trip. Good flat area with not too hard land which made it nice for tent camping. Didn’t make use of the water during the one night there but the toilet was convenient and tidy.

The host of this property did a great job with what there is to work with - a very small lot tucked in between two houses on a rural highway. There is an outhouse and water available, which I'm sure if you are tent camping, would come in very handy. I found that for my camper van, the lot seemed very small and uninteresting - I am glad that I at least had both lots to myself. For a self-contained RV, I would say that this is still a better option than parking at a Walmart, but not much more than that. The site is probably better suited for sleeping in your car or for tent camping when you need an outhouse and water.

We were doing a big trip across country to PEI from Canada. This spot worked out perfectly and was nice and flat. I’d stay again and recommend to other travelers.

Such a great site! There was a nice large cleared area with a fire pit and a sizable shed for storage. A couple of us even slept in the shed to get out of the rain!

Lovely spot. Heard an owl, nice wooded lot, wish we could have explored the woods and lake. Close to the highway, perfect spot to rest. Great new outhouse too.

Second time staying at this lovely little spot! Would go a third time and many times more for sure! Quiet, private, well maintained, and lots of birdsong and fireflies! :)

This was such a cute little space! Nice firepit with lots of available brush, and the ground was soft and flat for tenting. The host was also so friendly and helpful with directions and making sure we got there alright. Definitely would recommend for a stay in NB!

We only did a short one night stay en route to another destination and it was exactly what we needed. We did not get to stay to enjoy the nearby lake or trails but hopefully next time!

Great site! Lots of space, level and nice fire pit. There’s good privacy between this piece of land and neighbours. Very convenient location!! It is a couple km from a major highway , and it sits on a two lane country road, so be prepared for some traffic noise.

Super responsive and helpful host. Great suggestions for what to do in the area. Site is spacious and easy to access. It is close to the road but secluded by a row of trees. It worked-out great for us as a jumping off point to explore this beautiful area.
