A weekend getaway
Really nice little campground. Everyone was friendly and respectful. A really nice place to experience the fall foliage. The section B does not get a lot of sun so it gets pretty cold and damp. The spot for parking your car is very small as well. This section is quite private though.

Beautiful and quiet campsite!
I loved how quiet the campground was. The only noise you could hear was the river right next to the campsite. The whole area was absolutely breathtaking. I will definitely be back.

Incredible location ! Excellent, well tended grounds (porta potty was SPOTLESS)....excellent communication from the host. Sites are gravel- and the tent sites are nice (def bring a heavier pad for the forest floor).... in a valley- so gets dark a bit earlier than Sundown....

Campground is adjacent to a paved road that follows the river - upstream is a beautiful bicycle ride and a short upstream ride is one of the two local suspension bridges. The host stopped by and drew us a little map showing how we can hike to the second suspension bridge (whovh involes crossing the river). We plan to do the hike on our next trip.

Would Return Again!
Great site just steps away from the picturesque Dry Fork River. We had plenty of privacy on a beautiful Friday Fall night.

Awesome place to camp! Very quiet and secluded and next to a beautiful river. Would love to come back in the summer. Only about a 30 min drive to Thomas, WV.

It was a beautiful location right on the Dry Fork River. Great paved road for walking or biking along the river. Our dog loved running ahead and back-I think we saw 1 other person. Vince was easily reached and very accommodating. He lives close, so had great recommendations for hiking and eating. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and will definitely go back.

Magical riverside stay
I arrived to the campsite on a weekend where there were only two other campers. The host upgraded me to a cabin, which was generous! The campsites are next to a gorgeous river in a nature preserve, so there was plenty to see. I enjoyed the unique green rocks in the river. After staying 3 extra nights, I can say the place felt safe and private, especially for the solo traveller.

Beautiful, peaceful area by the river. Trails around the campsite are easy to walk. Brand new campsite so it has a lot of potential and Vincent seems to have a good vision of what he wants to do with the camp. Definitely would recommend!

One of my favorites!
This was one of my favorite Hipcamps ever! Close to the Cheat River. Campsites were neat and well kept. Toilet is available. Very quiet. I'm ready to go back now!

Lots of potential
This was a nice, newer campground that has great potential. I thought the sites were nice, the area was very clean, cleanest port-o-potties I have ever seen. My main issue was parking in section B. The area was tiny and somewhat sketchy. I also think it would be nice to have a dumpster available to dispose of trash. Had we stayed more than two nights, we could have had a lot more trash and to haul it out would not have been fun. I think the space for the tents was large enough, a little unlevel and could use a little more clearing. However, in time that will get worn down. Overall-nice place to spend a night to two.

Great swimming, amazing campsite!!
This campsite was wonderful!! The river is beautiful and great for swimming. Vincent is an amazing kind host and very friendly. The campsite itself is beautiful, and the nearest town is easily accessible if needed. Beautiful hikes are just a short drive away, but it’s just as fun to hang out at camp and swim in the river. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Brooklyn Heights was a wonderful weekend get away - you can't beat the bike riding and river!!!
Vince is so gracious, he's really putting his heart into this new site!
Although it's starting out a little primative, he's got great vision. The RV site was great!
The neighboring towns of Parsons, Thomas and Davis are great day trips! We look forward to visiting again.

We enjoyed our stay in section B. Even though we were not far from the other campsites it felt like we were deeper in the wilderness which is what we were looking for.
The campsite is in a great location and the river is beautiful. Vincent was attentive and friendly.

Quiet and beautiful stay!
I just had a one night stay while I passed through town but this was great! Fairly easy to find with the written instructions but my Apple Maps on Verizon network also worked to get me there. Plenty of wood around to collect and burn but also some bundles available for purchase were a nice offer! The location next to the river was very pretty and peaceful. Town was close enough I went to grab some dinner.

This campsite area was such a perfect find for us! Very scenic and secluded while still being just a short drive away to a Walgreens, grocery store, ect. We brought our two dogs and set up a tent at our site. There was a good amount of other campers there and everyone was quiet and respectful. Port o potty’s, river rafts, and wood bundles for purchase were an extra bonus too! Vincent also sent some great detailed driving instructions and a map layout. We’ll definitely be back

Tucked Away Corner of Tucker County
The road getting there is narrow and winding (especially for an RV) but once you arrive, you’ll be so glad you did. Tucked along the beautiful Dry Fork River on the way to Otter Creek Wilderness with the Allegheny Highlands Trail just across the swinging bridge, this is an outdoor lover’s paradise. It’s tucked away and feels remote, yet charming Parsons with its restaurants and grocery stores is only four miles away. The brand new campground is primitive now, but host/owner Vince says running water and electricity are on the way. We will be back with or without the modern upgrades:)

Best place for a quiet get away
Great location with lots of access points to enjoy the beautiful river. This was my second trip there since the place opened a couple months ago and I can’t wait to get back. Even though there were more campers this time with its growing popularity, you still have the feeling of privacy and serene isolation tucked in the wooded areas of the camp grounds. Vince is a great host and a super friendly guy, who has clearly put a lot of work into this place, and goes out of his way to make sure campers are enjoying their stay. There are so many nearby attractions and parks, but this place is a destination all its own.

We had a great stay at Vince’s campground! Vince is a wonderful host - very communicative before and during the stay, and happy to show you all around the campsite.
It is a rustic campsite in the woods with plenty of space between each site. The campsite is located right on the river with a large swimming hole that was wonderful to swim and explore. We hope to return the next time we are in the area!

The Parsons - Cabin CB1
We had a little Dotson with us and
The spot was excellent and the beach and swinging bridge was excellent enjoyed the one on one talks when Vincent checked on us and told us about the tour of the grounds. One thing he needs to invest in is a garbage destination it would be helpful not to have to take all the way home even though we didn't have much anyway. I really loved that there wasn't as many campers at a time. But it looked like the word was getting out though. I took walks in the morning and the evening. It is located near a park for kids as well in Parsons right before you turn down the road. I will definitely go back to this campground again.
