Nice cabin experience
Abrams Creek has nice staff, reasonable rates, and a good location! My wife, dog, and I enjoyed staying in one of their cabins for a few nights. It was easy to check in, we were giving lots of info about the accommodation and about nearby outdoor activities and we were on our way! The cabin was cozy and the stovetop grill we borrowed did the trick for cooking dinner. We would definitely stay again.

The land at Abram's Creek is gorgeous and wild. The campsites and cabins are well spaced. Cabin B smelled slightly of mold, but that eased if we kept the windows open. Our host was very friendly and very helpful. I definitely plan to return!

Cabin Z at Abrams Creek
Abraham creek Campground is a great stay for people looking to explore local sites and activities around. The host Michael is very nice and always available for help and support. For first time campers, I will recommend cabin Z because it has a wifi and is next to the Main Lodge where you can get quick access to amenities and help if needed.

Great spot with the right amount of amenities. Mostly clean cabin and heat worked well. Host was nice and accommodating and answered any Qs. Definitely a more primitive cabin but we’re used to tent t smoking so it was a major upgrade!

Low key, quiet campground
We got a campsite near the creek and it was amazing being able to hear the water all day. The portapotty are a bit old but has a hand wash station right next to it. By the end it started to stink a bit but they are far enough from campsites to not be a problem. Potable water onsite. Host was very nice and recommended our beautiful site. It’s all covered with trees and although there was a bit of people we didn’t hear anything. It’s a great place to just relax.

We had a great time at Abram's Creek. Our hosts, Sarah and Michael, accommodated us in two close tent sites that gave us plenty of room for 10 people. We enjoyed the sound of water as white noise, the spacious fireplace, hot water for washing dishes, beautiful nature, and much more. The only downside was that the nearest portapotty, where at least four other tent sites use it as well, was close to being full. There are things that can be improved to make this place even better.

First of all we camped during memorial weekend- however the port - a - John situation was inadequate for the amount of people in the woods. By the time we left the poop was to the brim.
The area is very pretty but if the number of sites were reduced- site selection would be better.

Hippy Retreat
Our stay at Abrams Creek was an unforgettable experience. Check in was super smooth and the owners were so sweet and cared about the environment! Our site was right on the creek and very private! I could go on and on about how great this property is, the vibes were immaculate. My dogs also enjoyed the creek! I recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a relaxing off grid camping experience! Thank you for the wonderful stay Abrams Creek owners and staff!

The description of this campground was misleading - this is no pristine nature preserve. It is a large, crowded campground with sites right on top of each other. The key trail to access our site went literally through a cabin parking pad and between the cabin and the campfire, so it was very awkward when we needed to get to our car.
Portapotties are reserved for cabins - each cabin gets a single porta-potty, the 18 or so campsites in each sector share a SINGLE porta-potty. They all - private or not - seem to be cleaned very infrequently, and the grounds smell strongly of uncleaned portapotties. The one near the 'lodge' seems to have a floor about to cave in (this is the only other porta-potty available for sector 1) and the handwash facility is dry and abandoned. From our site, we needed to walk past several portapotties and down a steep hill to access the single one allocated to our sector.
Noise ordinances and leash rules are not enforced. Even though the listing says you can have up to 13 guests per site, we had three overnight guests and two guests (our parents, in their 60's) who weren't staying the night, and they were charged a $5 each day use fee.
Finally, you cannot choose your site, you will have one assigned to you when you arrive. This makes it very difficult to know what gear to pack, and if you have mobility issues and are expecting a drive-up spot, you may be unpleasantly surprised.
The creek itself is very lovely and with no trash or broken glass.

Gorgeous, peaceful setting. I loved falling asleep to the sound of the creek. Campsites are a good distance apart from each other so it feels secluded. Definitely appreciated that there was a potable water source and hot showers. Would love to have spent more time here!

Secluded, natural, well wooded.
Really liked this campsite - it's well wooded and sheltered, and has been left as natural as practical. Found sites fairly easy to get a small camper trailer into. Toilet was clean and well cared for. Host is friendly and helpful - we sat down and chatted about the world until rain chased me back to my camp.

Highly recommend!
Such a great experience! Staff was informative and friendly. Cabin A is basic but cozy, only thing we wish we had known prior is that the fridge is really small, about half the size of a normal mini fridge. Don't waste any space by packing wood, they require you to burn theirs- $5 a bucket full. Parking was easy and they have a ton of overflow options. The surround area was breathtaking. So much beautiful moss and tree cover everywhere. The river was serene, we loved climbing all over the boulders and fallen trees. There is clean drinking water and porta potties readily available throughout the area. Overall 10/10 would recommend/ visit again.

5 stars on the seclusion of the sites & the creek was pretty,but everything was outdated & dirty & the host was super worried about covid. When we arrived he talked to us through a closed door,reading off a long list of saftey protocols. If they are worried about sanitation I'd start at the smelly front office. Key for the shower had to be returned between people so it could be sanitized ect ect. This is a primitive camping experience,people just want to get out & enjoy nature. Let it go man.

It was better than advertised. I stayed at one of the walk-in tent sites that was next to an audible running stream. It made for a perfect site.
