Site 2 Creekside Grill
The site was quiet and well maintained. It was alot of fun using the canoes and going fishing. I would definitely return in the future.

Camp on beautiful Brandywine Creek
Site #2 at Creekside Shelter was the PERFECT site for our group of campers—11 people, 4 families, coming to camp from 4 different locales. (The site limit is 16 and there is that much room to accommodate many tents.) Very convenient to get to. The most secluded site of 2, right on the raised bank of Brandywine Creek above the waterfall and is scenically beautiful and specially appointed with a rustic shelter (a great hangout), two large picnic tables and a fire pit. (The natural beauty of the site also included a Blue Heron family and Bald Eagle!) A perk of Creekside Shelter is access to canoes, kayaks, paddles, and life preservers. Fabulously friendly host Rick also supplied a broom for shelter cleanup, a rake for campsite grooming, a ladder for getting up the bank from the canoes/kayaks, and he threw in some wood for a fire. The portapotty is a bit of a walk from Site #2, but it was great to have it for use. You have to haul in your own water and bring extra firewood, but this is definitely a destination site! Highly recommend it. We will definitely return! Thanks, Rick! (Another perk is its proximity—in walking distance to the Brothers on the Brandywine Beer Garden, which features Sunday afternoon live music..)
We also rented site #1, because we had our large group we worried there would not be enough room at the shelter site, but site #2 had more than enough space for 4 tents. Site 1 is smaller, though lovely and closer to the waterfall which you can hear from the site.

Beautiful campsite with fishing, canoeing and privacy. Rick and Colleen are great people. Best hipcamp I have visited.
