We LOVE Tom’s site! He greeted us at the main check-in area and took us to our site, stocked with firewood and farm fresh eggs we ordered in advance. We are so glad to visit each time, and it is private and well-maintained! You can tell Tom cares about the camping experience!

Great hosts and lovely stay

Tom and his family were great hosts. His granddaughter did a lovely job helping us get sorted and they were very accommodating as we had to switch sites last minute due to the rain. They even took us on a farm tour which was greatly appreciated! The creek that runs around parts of their farm is just stunning. There was too much rain when we were there to camp but we did enjoy walking around it!!

Beautiful property that Tom has. We loved waking up to the cows mooing in the distance. The creek was so cool and refreshing too. It was under a lot of tree cover and I’d imagine it’s the perfect place to spend the day even if the weather was 100°. Very private and easy to find. Tom was a great host

A peaceful riverside getaway

A tranquil setting in a serene environment perfectly describes our camping experience. Our days were filled with cooking delicious meals, including breakfast with the farm fresh eggs our host provided, reading in the hammock while listening to the gentle flow of the river, and sitting around the campfire beneath the picturesque sycamore trees. We spent our afternoons floating in tubes, splashing in the river, and simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Tom, our host, was an absolute delight. He genuinely cared about our experience and made sure everything was going well throughout our stay. It was the perfect place to slow down, relax, and enjoy the outdoors. We had a wonderful time and hope to be back again soon!

Tranquil paradise!

We loved camping on Tom’s land! Well, no one else was camping at the same time, it was very secluded, and we would not have noticed if they were. We were right by the creek and saw a bald eagle fly overhead. We also enjoyed seeing the cows move around across the road, and hearing the horse and buggy go by. Such a beautiful site with primitive camping, but also enjoyed cell service in case of emergency. We will definitely be back!!!

Buckeye Trees Site!

We had so much fun camping at the Buckeye Tree site!! Pretty secluded, the other sites are spread out perfectly and you can still explore the property. Most sites you can get to the river in or near. But if you have pups just be careful, you have to go down a little ravine to get in there. Either way they loved it and knew when it was okay to go down or not! They definitely enjoyed the trip the most 🥰 Tom and his Wife (and doggies) are so sweet, accommodating, and timely if we needed wood or something. The river was wonderful to have by and the shade was a plus on this site. All and all it is an amazing property to visit. We can’t wait to go back! Thanks for a great trip 🏕️

Wonderful as always

Stayed at Wakatomika the last trip and buckeye bend this trip. Tom and his wife are absolutely wonderful as always. Buckeye bend is a bit more secluded (which we didn’t mind at all) buckeye also has a bit more water to float in, in the creek if that’s what you are looking for but even at wakatomika you can walk and find a decent deep spot to float in. We love both sites and the hospitality! Took one of our dogs this trip and I’ve never seen him so tired with all the running he did. We absolutely love this little hidden gem in Frazeysburg, it will forever be a favorite.

Great host! Great place to camp along the creek! Beautiful farm and surroundings! Me and my son had a great time fishing in the creek and taking in all the nature. We saw a bald eagle, canvas back duck, pink wood frog, baby soft shell turtle, and caught some fish! We had a great time getting a tour of the farm. Will definitely try to get back out here!

We had the best time. Camp site was beautiful right next to the creek, pretty easy access, they had the easiest entrance for the creek marked. Exceptional hospitality, tom and his wife went over the top to make our stay. Took us on a tour offered everything we could ever need, answered all of our questions and even let our son lead a cow around! What an experience! We will absolutely be back. Hands down a favorite camping spot for us.
