Good spot. Made chicken friends.
Beautiful property and knowledgeable hosts. Walked me around and showed me plants and campsites despite having a new, fussy one month old up the hill.
Very pretty campsites. Safe for LGBTQIA+ folks. Neat town nearby.
Water and wood included. Communal kitchen is nice, though I had a little trouble navigating it as a solo camper. Potable water needs brought to communal kitchen to cook (though is often available, wasn’t this week).
Solar shower is AWESOME. What a cool setup.
This site is FANTASTIC for people interested in off grid living.
A few notes about the sites for future campers:
- sites are close together. Great for big groups who want to camp close to each other. If you’re a separate group, ensure you’ve got a privacy screen for outdoor changing or something
-most sites don’t have picnic tables. Bring your own or you’ll be cooking and eating crouched.
-hay is scattered at campsites for traction, which helped, but due to rain, was still a bit muddy. Bring appropriate footwear. Once i put my boots on, all was good.
