Absolutely perfect! This is such a lovely property, I wish I could have stayed so much longer. Mary has thought of every single thing you could want or need — tons of blankets, excellent firewood, kitchen supplies, games, books, etc. The location is gorgeous and the sites are large. The bed was heavenly and there were tons of pillows, making for a very restful sleep even though it was quite chilly. The only thing more perfect than the site itself is Mary’s communication! She responded quickly to every question I had, proactively provided all the info I would need, sent helpful reminders and just went above and beyond what many hosts would do. We can’t wait to stay here again next time we’re visiting Letchworth!

Staying in a yurt at Birchwood was an absolute delight! 🏕️ The yurt itself was cozy and comfortable, providing a unique blend of rustic charm and modern amenities. Nestled in the heart of nature, without it being to far of a walk from your car. The spacious interior and thoughtful design made for a truly relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed the nights under the stars by the campfire, listening to the sounds of the forest. The host was very accommodating, and we opted in for the extra perks you can add on and it was a wonderful experience for me and my wife. They made the entire campsite fall festive before our arrival with pumpkins, glowstick and fall decor, it was a wonderful glamping experience, and we will be back next year.

Beautiful area, easy access to Letchworth and privacy at your campsite with just about everything included. Would definitely stay again if we were visiting the area!

Great campsite with everything we needed! The tent was warm and the bed cozy! Plenty of firewood to hold us over throughout our stay. Big pine was a quiet location where we could enjoy ourselves and the surrounding nature.

Our site was so perfectly laid out, with everything we needed. They've obviously put a lot of thought into this spot. Our tent was large enough to accommodate us sitting at the table to play a board game while it rained, and the king size bed was super warm and comfortable. We would go back in a minute!

It’s always a pleasure to camp at Forrest for the Trees! Big Pine is slightly more of a trek, but great for privacy and relaxation! Mary takes care of everything ❤️

We had a great time here! So quiet, peaceful. Arriving and checking in was easy. The little campsite mailboxes are so cute, made me feel like a little kid. We were able to take the path along the field to Birchwood and wow what a view! The stars here are incredible at night. The campsite had everything we needed. Definitely a good amount of wood for our two night stay and more!! The yurt was an awesome experience. It was soo refreshing not having to pitch a tent but still get the full camping experience. I couldn’t believe how clean it was. The bed was very comfortable. We slept a good ten hours the first night. That’s unheard of for us! There’s a very cute little library in the woods, don’t forget to peep the lil gnome sitting on his chair. We brought our kayaks. Some really good spots within a half hour.

Lovely experience. Lots of thoughtful touches. Super comfortable for sleeping in a tent in the forest. We traveled with five kids, 5-14, and they especially loved the trampoline! Send your kids on an explore to find it. (Hint: It's near the little library toward where the wagons are kept.) The adults chilled by the campfire and gabbed while the kids exhausted themselves with an hours-long bouncing frenzy. Mary was super quick to respond to questions - she recommended the Stoney Brook swim spot which was sublime. And horseback riding at Nunda Ranch. Also sublime.

Mary's spot at the Starlight site was beautiful! We usually go to state parks to tent camp and this was a nice relaxing slightly more fancy trip. Everything we needed was available, including a small kitchen and rain cover. The sites are secluded and you really do feel like you're just at a forest site, with all the amenities (and peace of mind) of having other folks nearby.

We loved tent glamping on Mary J's property. It was beautifully laid out with almost every amenity you need for camping and much MORE. The trails were perfect for walking our dogs and the views were spectacular. Keeping waste to a complete minimum was appreciated and Mary J was very accommodating on short notice.

When you want to share the magic of nature with your kids, but haven't camped before, THIS is where you stay. We surprised my outdoorsy husband with a Father's Day glamping trip and everything about our experience has us wanting to come back. The thoughtful extra touches made us feel special. Our kids were delighted to discover the library and a scavenger hunt just for them. Mary was wonderful to work with and steered me toward the right spot for us.

The camps are far enough apart for privacy, beautifully appointed, with outdoor kitchens and well-supplied kitchens that can be more well-supplied just by asking. Our tent was clean and comfortable, the bed made with extra pillows, and nightstand boxes appointed with wooden games and interesting books. The camp and trails are lit up at night, making for a beautiful site whether you have to walk to the nearby outhouse or back to your car, or even just enjoying them while having dinner and drinks by your evening fire.
We will definitely be back, Mary and her family are incredible hosts, and you really feel like you're at home for a little while, sharing a piece of their joy of camping and love of the land.

The land Mary had set up was very beautiful, and the site itself was very comfortable! There was lots of space, and we definitely felt nice, and secluded despite campers being at every other campsite. Everyone was friendly, including the staff and other campers! It was such a lovely trip we wish we could've gotten more time out of.

I was really impressed with our campsite. Mary thought of EVERYTHING to make our trip a success. On our drive to the campground, I thought of a few things I wished I had remembered to bring: Mary had them all. The campsite is spacious and very well-kept. Plenty of cleverly-made surfaces (tables, shelves, benches around the fire pit). Shady areas if the sun is out, with tarps overhead in key areas of the campsite. The tent itself was cozy and well-set up and very well-protected from rain. And, despite the temperature dipping to the 20s at night, we were totally fine! Comfortable bed. All the kitchen stuff you’d need, and more. Little solar light “sticks” to guide you around at night. Cleanest “outhouse” I’ve ever used. The site was very private; I had no idea where the (two?) other tent sites were. Our site, Starlight, was in the words, but at the very edge, next to the field. I liked that location for the view and spaciousness, but it did make for extra wind if it’s a windy day (because you’re not as protected as the sites that are deeper in the woods. Mary was very responsive to questions and helpful in providing tips. She even laid down a lot of straw on the trail to help us navigate the mud. (It has rained a lot in PA and NY in the days leading up to our trip.) Overall, a GREAT experience.

So to start off this was a first time camping experience for a small group of young boys. The weather definitely could have been better. However, can’t predict everything. We got to the site and directions were there asking with wagons to load our stuff. Reached the campgrounds and it was perfect. The setting was beautiful and the set up was exactly what Mary said. We were able to put up an additional tent and the amount of space was more than enough for ten. The equipment for cooking, starting a fire, and washing dishes was all there. We were able to explore a little and take some memorable photos. Mary was very welcoming and contacted us while there to offer more blankets if needed for the cold night. All in all, this was a great experience and we would love to come again during warmer months. Thank you Mary for a great space.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Forest from the Trees Camp, and it was an outstanding experience. The campsite's location was simply stunning, offering a wonderful view of the valley and the changing fall colours.
The amenities and facilities were immaculate, the campsite and grounds were well laid out, and there were even cute little spots to set up for photos, adding a nice touch of something special to our camping adventure. This campsite offers a perfect balance of seclusion and comfort, making it ideal for a nature escape where you can truly relax and disconnect.
I can't recommend Forest from the Trees highly enough. If you're seeking a memorable outdoor getaway with picturesque surroundings, and essential comforts, this is the place to be. We had a short, wet and chilly stay but Mary was very kind and accommodating and we had an enjoyable stay. (Thank you for the fresh eggs again!) Beautiful spot for Fall nature viewing and hiking even in the rain. Fire pit kept us warm.

Mary is a kind, helpful host. The property is secluded- very rural, so if you’re wanting a real get away with solitude for yourself or your family- this is a fantastic place! The sites are well spaced so even if fully booked- you’ll have privacy. The tent sites are a walk in- 10 minutes if you’re fit! (she does state this on the primitive tent sites) I have never gone to a Hipcamp twice but I would consider coming here again for the solitude.

We came up for our 11 year anniversary and stayed in Starlight. We had an amazing and enjoyable weekend! Mary was a very sweet and attentive host. It was a cooler/rainy weekend and she surprised us with some warm hot chocolate the evening we arrived. The camp itself was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook and relax. We also liked the pet-friendly perk of this location so we were able to bring our pups who also had a great time! The tent set-up itself was beautiful inside and out, the bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean and fresh! We loved finding this special spot and felt right at home. We can't wait to visit again! Thank you Mary!

I rented this campsite on a whim. I had a little extra money from a side job and because of many family obligations, I had not gotten a real break this year. I knew this little camp was meant for love birds, but I didn't care. It was absolutely perfect for just me and my pup, or if I would have brought a friend. Mary was the most gracious host. This campground is truly special. I absolutely cannot wait to return. The tent was beautiful and breezy, the atmosphere Mary has created is truly to die for. I felt spoiled in the outdoors which is exactly what I was craving. The sunsets were mind blowing, the sheets were soft and the bed was incredible. We will be back in the fall for sure!

Our group of three, my granddaughter, my dog and I, all had a wonderful stay at Starlight. From the minute you pull into the parking area you know it's going to be an excellent stay. Everything is in great condition and very thoughtfully done. From the wagons, the welcome booth, the campsite set up, the seating area by the field and especially the bed it's all great. My granddaughter especially loved the hot chocolate basket. I walked my dog on the trail at the site and met Mary and her husband. They are great people and easy to talk to. If you need anything at all they are easy to reach and happy to help. We will be coming back to this site again. Thank you for having us and making it such a memorable stay.
