This hipcamp was so great! It is close to the Twin Cities so it was very convenient for us who live in Saint Paul but even in a suburban area, it was so peaceful! We were able to walk a few blocks up to Shakopee Bowl for dinner on the patio with the dogs and listen to live music but head back to camp where it was super serene. The field was wide open so we could play catch and bocce ball and Kelley was more than accommodating! Free wood that was incredible to burn. That is so thoughtful! We made last minute reservations and they were very responsive and gave great directions and information. 100% would camp here again! It was truly wonderful as it will probably be our last camping trip of the season but who knows! Maybe we'll get some great fall weather and then we would definitely come back to this camp. A+!

We had a very nice experience at Kelley's place. We met the host when we arrived. The location was excellent! The space was private and pretty (beautiful apple trees) and yet walking distance to a bowling alley/sports bar, not far from the highway and within a neighborhood. You'd never know you were in a neighborhood when you're at the campsite. We had electricity and a nice fire pit area. We just wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderfully private, spacious, well manacured, nature centered camping! Experienced lots of wildlife, felt like we were out in the middle of nowhere but were still within very reasonable distance of whatever we needed for restaurants, shopping and events. Appreciated the supplied and well burning firewood, will definitely return!

Great spot, nice soft grass, lots of fire wood and sitting. quiet and secluded, but sports bar is just a block or two away. had a good beer and burger 😎 then enjoyed sitting by the fire, greetings by friendly pup too!

This was our second time staying at Kelly's. Such a wonderful spot. If I ever have to pass through Minneapolis again this is the place I'd choose to stay.

Great quiet spot. We stayed 3 nig
hts while visiting the Minneapolis area. Shakopee has a nice little downtown with plenty of places to eat. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

We absolutely LOVED camping at Kelley’s! They have a great fire pit set up with A LOT of firewood and seating around it. The apple trees are just beautiful and although we were away with family the majority of our camping time, the time we had there was quiet and very private. We even got to see a rather large squirrel steal an apple! I’m sure if we had been around more, we would have seen more wildlife. Definitely a FIVE star review from us!!

It was great camping at Kelley's. They sent great directions and were there to meet me so I could easily get into the spot. It was quite and peaceful sitting in the growing orchard and reading a book. My daughter loved running up the hill for the power lines and had plenty of room to kick a ball.
The location is really good if you are attending local activities such as the Ren fest or Severs Corn Maze. We biked to the Renaissance festival (2 miles) and afterwards ate dinner and watched a band at Shakopee Bowl located just down the street. It was a little tough to back our 26' travel trailer down the steep grassy hill. Once we got to the bottom, leveling was a breeze. The site is located down a hill behind the garage. It is very private as we could not see the house from the site. The hosts were very nice. We plan on staying here again next year during the Ren Fest.

We enjoyed playing bocce ball on the big grassy field, watching fireflies, and having access to electricity. The process of choosing the best and most level spot took a while but we did manage to put our 35 foot travel trailer next to the shed. Thanks for the place to stay when all the RV parks were booked!
We spent Memorial Day weekend (2022) at Private Acreage Apple Trees’ freshly mowed field. Leveling my 30’ Class C was a breeze.
It’s about 2 acres (guessing) with a fire pit, wood to burn, apple trees, and 15 amp service is provided.
We highly recommend Private Acreage if visiting Shakopee, MN. Canterbury Park, Mystic Lake Casino, and Valleyfair are all nearby.
