The camping site was so beautiful. A picnic table was provided and I was able to purchase some fire wood that the owner dropped off at our site. Plenty of room for the 6 people I camped with, two tents and two cars. Plenty of places to walk around and explore and so fun to see the horses walk by! There was some confusion checking in and finding the spot as there are a few spots around the acres. I would love to come back someday!

The most beautiful campsite I have ever been to. The host, Elizabeth was fantastic. Lots of eagles and other wildlife. Great fishing too. I highly recommend this Hipcamp!!

The campsite was wonderful! They had cleared debris for our tents before we arrived and left us plenty of firewood to last us our stay. The view was fantastic and we saw/heard lots of beautiful wildlife. 9/10 would visit again! Only gripe was the distance from the only toilet (though we were told upfront about that before booking, so they were at least clear and upfront about it).

Elizabeth’s land was beautiful and the perfect place to camp for groups large and small. Being right on the lake was incredible. We were on a road trip, hit some major traffic, and arrived late. We had a bit of a hard time finding it in the dark, so I definitely recommend getting there earlier while there is still plenty of daylight to find your spot and enjoy the lake. :)

I loved tent camping at Eagles Nest. True to its name, I saw 3 bald eagles flying over the water. Speaking of the water, the view is incredible. 180 degrees of water surrounds you. The site is mostly in the shade but there are a couple of sun spots to catch a tan. A nice breeze off the water kept most of the bugs at bay. The access to the water is definitely steep and muddy but if you’re half athletic, you should have no problem going up and down. There were a couple of trail rides that rode by during the day which was very cool to see the horses. Elizabeth was a great host! We met her husband (Brandon?) on arrival at the site. We purchased firewood for a fair price and he dropped it off for us. This site was peaceful and private. We will absolutely come back to camp here in the very near future!

Absolutely beautiful and secluded site! The site is in a wooded area, next to water, and is spacious. Lots of wildlife activity surrounds. The views and sunsets are awesome. It felt like I was far away in the back country. Yet so close and accessible. I took advantage of the fishing on Pond Creek. I will definitely return again! Elizabeth, Thank you for making this site available for camping use.

Loved the campsite campsite! Absolutely beautiful views and we watched so many eagles flying and hunting over the water. There wasn't much hiking accessible from our spot and we definitely weren't able to swim. We had 3 kids under 4 and an 11 year old with us- it was a steep, dirt path down to the water which would've turned into a muddy slip and slide if we swam. Wasn't much of a landing pad, either and the dock was scary. Definitely an adult site meant more for paddleboarding or kayakers. But it was still so much fun. There were little frogs hopping around, too and it was SO quiet. I almost wish we left the kids at home!

The Eagles Nest has everything you need if you want to get off the grid for a day or a week and be in solitude and peace. I never saw a soul the whole time. The view is mesmerizing and the site is well suited for a tent or three. I was in love with this site as soon as I pulled up.
The shower at the barn was intimidating at first blush because I felt like I was encroaching on someone’s home. But it is not the case. The shower trailer unit isn't on the barn side, rather its near the house. It was clean and dry and the fixtures are modern and well maintained. Thanks for that.
I stayed in the camp site the whole time. Others have mentioned some other activities but that was not my experience. I would not try accessing the water from the embankment at the site unless you are ready for a significant sprint up the bank and open to getting dirty.
The sunsets are wonderful here. Thanks to this host. I will be making more silent retreats here soon.

Perfect spot with great view of the water. One of our favorite camping experiences. Secluded area with many trees. Being right near the water, we were able to drop in with kayaks. Surprisingly, bugs were not noticeable at all. We will definitely be back.

Had a great time at the eagles nest, Elizabeth responded quickly with a few questions I had. Spot is secluded and plenty of shade on a hot summer day. Plenty of fishing and bird watching. Looking forward to going back.

I absolutely loved camping on eagle Grove point we had the entire place to ourselves, which was so nice. We ended up in the water most of the time that we were there. There are plenty of supplies for you to use, which is very nice. There’s Floaties, kayaks and canoes. Bonus we got to see a ton of bald eagles.
There is a bathroom and a shower, but they are a drive from Eagle point. However there is a porta potty closer if you really need one.
I would say my only complaint was the bugs. There are a ton of flies that seem to be attracted to the mud near the water and also mosquitoes, so make sure to bring your bug spray and plenty of it.

Five star stay. Amazing secluded spot right in the bay. Tons of birds and good fishing. Even went out in their canoe and paddled around, couldn’t ask for more.

Beautiful view, amazing spot to watch the sunset! Was really cool seeing all the horses on the way in. Nice access to water and large site for spreading out with ample shade during a summer stay. If you plan on filling water here / using their bathroom just know it's a 1/4-1/2 mile from the actual site. We brought our own. Host was kind enough to drive us up some wood (thank you!) and you can see people doing their house rides down the trail by the site sometimes while hanging at camp, our dog loved watching them.

Absolutely beautiful property. The eagles nest was perfectly placed in seclusion. Highly recommend that site. We pulled in very late due to weather delays. Very accommodating. Site fit our vehicle and out tiny 4’x4’ trailer. Roof top tent was nice on the water front.

Really beautiful. The campsite was clean, spacious and very private. We caught a couple of fish and went swimming. The water was very warm. Be prepared to kill a lot of spiders, they liked to make webs at night and we had to clear them in the morning. The bathroom/shower had warm water. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved the aptly named Eagles Nest site. Nice large private campsite amongst big beautiful trees overlooking the bay on almost three sides. Property is wooded with horse/vehicle trails and pond teeming with dragonflies amongst other wildlife, not to mention the many Bald Eagles, Osprey, and Herons we spent the morning watching hunt fish. Host was responsive and thoughtfully left us some firewood for our stay. Would definitely come again!
