The cabin is in a quiet and secluded area. It has everything you need. All we brought with us were clothes and food. They have a gas grill ready to go and even have firewood for the campfire ready to go. A great place to stay!

Nice quiet spot. Not far from Gateway Arch. Pull thru is a little tight if you have a bigger trailer (30+ feet).

We had a wonderful stay at Lindsey’s land! Our spot was beautiful/private and we loved how gorgeous our view was. We definitely plan to return one day!

This was a wonderful place to unwind. The house had pretty much everything you could need. I was able to show up with just the clothing and food that I needed. I was there during the week so it was extremely quiet and peaceful. My favorite part was kayaking on the pond (kayak and paddle board provided). The host also responded very quickly to any questions I had. I would definitely stay again.

A really lovely, quiet spot on the lake. Secluded, with more amenities than we imagined and was a wonderful way to spend an evening!

Beautiful lakeside location on well maintained land. The available kayaks were a plus and there is a large playground as well. A good secluded spot for a solo or family getaway.

The Birch Back-In RV site isn’t just a stop, it’s the kind of place that makes you slow down without realizing it. The pond caught us first—quiet, glassy, the kind of water that makes you want to skip rocks and forget about time. The free kayaks and paddle board weren’t just perks, they were an invitation to get out there and live a little. We stayed, we breathed, we laughed. Tremendous place. We definitely will be back.

We went for quiet and relaxation and it did not disappoint. Great tiny house. Everything was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots and pans you would need. Husband enjoyed the fishing. The screened in porch was used alot. Close to town and good restaurants. Sad to leave. Will definitely be going back. Had a hummingbird visit.

100% would recommend this place. Quiet, fishing was great, hosts were welcoming, and offered plenty of fire wood w/seating next to the lake. We will definitely be returning to this location.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Secluded in a beautiful area that was quite and just overall relaxing. The hosts were very communicative and upon our arrival showed us where trails were, etc. Still close to Carlinville which has a Walmart, dollar general, and dollar tree for any items you might need. We really enjoyed our time here and extended literally our first night as we enjoyed the serenity it provided!

My family really enjoyed staying at this property. It was very well maintained and easy to navigate with our 34' motorhome. The pond was beautiful and we were able to use the provided kayak a few times during our stay.
There was only one other rental site (the cabin), which was perfect for our RV-less friends to join us on the trip. It felt very private and quiet, which was great for letting the kids run loose.
We enjoyed hiking the trails on the property and did a little fishing. The firewood was generously provided and was very welcome during the brisk spring weather.
Communication was quick and helpful throughout the process. The hosts and site were perfect for what we were looking for this trip. Thank you!

Had a great time. Perfect place to unwind with the family. The cabin was great! The views are great! Even with clouds in the sky and rain for an entire day with high winds, the screened in porch was perfect. Will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks!
