Hemsford Yurt Camp near Littlehempston in Devon provides self catering holidays in authentic Mongolian yurts. Located just 3 miles from the bohemian town of Totnes, in a rural peaceful location, our micro site has 4 authentic yurts and one quirky shepherds hut. The meadow has a tributary of the river Dart and a lake situated on site. We offer peaceful location suitable for couples and families alike on a former farm.Our Hems yurt is a 6 metre authentic Mongolian yurt. It can comfortably sleep up to 6 persons in a king sized bed, a double bed and 2 single beds. It has a wood burning stove, table and chairs and a settee. It is set in a 3 acre meadow overlooking the river Hems. There are communal kitchens, flushing toilets and hot showers and the yurt is located in our micro site with 3 other yurts and one shepherds hut. Ideal for families and those seeking a quiet peaceful rural location within easy walking distance from the local pub and just 3 miles from the bohemian town of Totnes. All bedding is included and use of the facilities. There are solar powered lights inside the yurt and for those whole would like electricity we have a kitchen area with fridges, microwave, toaster, air fryer and electric kettle. Outside this yurt is a lovely seating area with fire pit, ideal for toasting marshmallows and star gazing on clear nights.
