Escape to our quiet, half-acre countryside plot surrounded by rolling fields. We offer a secure, gated gravel hardstanding pitch perfect for off-grid campervans. Guests enjoy full access to our beautiful country garden, where our friendly chickens, ducks, and fancy doves roam free. You will have exclusive use of our guest lodge (static caravan), equipped with a flushing toilet, hand sink, microwave, and kettle. Please note: The large driveway is shared with the host and separate annex guests, so we strictly host a maximum of 1 van at a time to maintain peace, privacy, and plenty of space for turning. No facility for emptying toilet cassette waste on site. I loved the location! Perfect tucked away from the main road which means the views are incredible, you’re surrounded by fields and there is a lake which was perfect for an afternoon/ evening walk. The only downside is that there’s no shower but hopefully that will be added. Do be careful of the ducks though they might want some of your dinner too haha.

Dark skies, a beautiful aspect, sunrise across the fields. A friendly chicken and some ducks and doves. Another peaceful night in Paul's camping garden. Perfect!

Secluded, friendly, close to nature

We stayed at Paul’s place for just a night but he couldn’t have been more welcoming. I believe we may have been his first guest! The setting is wonderful, secluded and sure by nature. We met the ducks, the chicken and the doves who we shared the garden with in our Bongo. As the only guests we had exclusive use of the developing facilities in a static caravan - if we had wanted to we could even have stayed in the double bed. Paul has plumbed in a toilet and soon there will be a shower. The best thing though on this warm night was that we could sleep with the tailgate open and enjoy the full moon.
