Wild Camping Pitch
Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!
We loved camping at Bush Farm Wild Camping. We pitched in Rock Park, miles from anyone else. It was only 5 mins walk to the spotless facilities, which were ideal. The kids loved the huge amounts of space and the river which they paddled and swam in. Suzy was brilliant at check in, she explained everything to us, gave us a very useful info leaflet and a fire pit and made us feel very welcome. Stu came around every evening to check we were ok and to sell firewood if we needed. I am not a fan of camping, and so the idea of camping with no electricity and so few facilities was a little anxiety-provoking. But I needn’t have worried - Bush Farm Wild Camping has converted me to big open spaces, peace, quiet and relaxation. There’s lots to do in this part of Cornwall and we went out every day. The info leaflet recommended Seaton Beach which was a particular hit with the dog and kids. We have already mentally picked where we’ll pitch next time! 🙂 We almost don’t want to tell you how great Bush Farm Wild Camping is, as we’d love to keep it all for ourselves!

Wild Camping Pitch
Great to be able to pick your own spot, and have so much space and so many options. It's perfectly low-key and so tranquil, but with enough facilities to cover the basics. We have a small campervan and awning, couldn't have had a nicer experience and will definitely be back! Thank you :-)

Loads of room and choice
Loads of space and choice of location, by the river, on the hill or flat field, all with great views. Personally greated and told all about the site and facilities. Toilet and shower blocks basic but clean and functional. Will be returning.

We’re a family of four. It was our first time wild camping and we loved it. Bush farm has go it so right. We pitched by the river. Our nearest ‘neighbours’ were over 50m away. Everything is so well spread out that you never feel cramped or hemmed in by other campers. Booking via the website is easy and the price is very ready reasonable. When we arrived we were greeted by Stu and given a quick briefing on the place, them Left to find our way. It was a great base for exploring Cornwall. The showers were always hot and never ran out of water. Always wood available for the log burners. In all we had a great time. The staff are friendly and helpful. The area is lovely the experience was great. I highly recommend Bush farm wild camping. Thank you.

The campsite is very spacious with lovely views: We went at the busiest time and were one of two tents in a field! The facilities are great - proper hot showers, washing up points and it’s all kept very clean and tidy. Aaaaand the staff are so helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back!

Wild Camping Pitch
We stayed for 8 days on this site. There are many positives; such as the real distance between each tent - this really is something special. Some fields are right next to the river and my kids loved this especially the rope swing over it. The facilities are ok, but some of the showers were not consistently hot and often ran cold. The only two I found to be consistent were by the main entrance and these were beautiful and hot. We were unlucky with weather and experienced a lot of rain. This is wild camping, so there are only tracks made my previous car users. This made the tracks phenomenally difficult to drive through/on and actually did get stuck. However I must add that Stu, was so quick to toe us out and was so pleasant and beyond great but I do feel worth warning if the weather is forecast to be wet. Park Close to the entrance as the tracks soon become hard to negotiate Overall, this was very good value for money and the peace and solitude was something that is rare to find on campsite these days. However just worth bearing in mind the weather forecast and if you do decide to camp further away from the main Reception area - you may need to walk for your hot shower

Wild Camping Pitch
The staff were friendly and welcoming and the facilities were always well maintained (with plenty of toilet roll). The whole site was amazingly beautiful and the river running through it clear and fresh. We camped in Furze Camp which had lovely views of the sunset and we were surrounded by wild flowers. Our group had the entire field to ourselves which was great as our three young dogs could roam happily off the lead. The only downside was the weather however the local woodfire pizza oven that visits the site saved us cooking on the rainier of days. Close to everything you might want to visit - we will surely be heading back and will strongly recommend to others.

Fantastic campsite with a friendly welcome, loads of space, hot water showers and clean toilets. The children had fun in the river with their inflatable canoe. Great countryside views walking around the farm. Within easy reach of beaches, Plymouth and the rest of Cornwall.

Wild Camping Pitch
We just got back from seven days here. We had a really lovely time, loads of room, some of the fields were entirely empty. We camped near the river with the kids and made lots of friends for them to play with but you can find your own peaceful space here. Tracks are a bit hard on the car if you go deeper into the site but worth it for the location. We swam in the river which was lovely if a little chilly. Went to Restormel Castle as well which was great. Toilets were nice and the showers great when they worked. We had one day where our block broke but it was quickly fixed. Overall, one of the most beautiful, peaceful and relaxed sites we have visited.

Wild Camping Pitch
Unlike other campsites you don't get given a pitch number and told where to go, at bush farm you arrive and get given a map and are free to explore, having a 4x4 we took to the highest field and found outselves over looking a vast valley and no other people around it was amazing to find such an empty place during the summer holidays. This place is as close to wild camping as it gets whilst still having running water, log delivery toilets and showers. I won't spoil the showers but there deffinatly quirky. Excellent hosts have not stopped recommending since we returned and would recommend to anyone with any type of camping set up from motor home to tiny tent. Excellent exploration for the children too. Truly awesome and we will visit again.

Wild Camping Pitch
My husband, I and two dogs loved the space, tranquility and beauty of this campsite. We camped up on the hill, away from the busier fields where we were able to find a flattish spot, with the next nearest tent 200m away - and this was in the school summer holidays! Obviously the loos and showers were a walk away but that was fine and our choice, they were basic, but more than good enough - they were cleaned regularly, the showers were hot and there was loo roll! The road in and through the farm was described by Stu (the friendly farmer) as agricultural, and it was! We enjoyed walking the dogs round the farm and saw the great potential for kids to run, have fun and have 'wholesome fun!' with tyre rope swings in trees and loads of places to explore. So, this site is recommended, if you are happy to do simple camping, without frills as the 'wild camping' description suggests.

Brilliant, easy going feel, felt like we were the only ones on the site and the showers are amazing. We only stopped one night to break up our journey to Newquay. Definitely would stay again. Maize maze on the door step which was also great to take the kids. Don’t think we would stop longer than 2 nights
