Cork Valley is a 70-hectare private estate of cork oaks and holm oaks in the Montes de Toledo, 130 km from Madrid and next to Cabañeros National Park, one of the best-preserved Mediterranean forests in Europe. We offer 15 self-contained units for two: five wooden cabins set among the trees and ten Mirror Houses (Casas Espejo), glass-fronted cabins whose mirrored façades disappear into the landscape. Every unit has its own bathroom, kitchenette, heating/air-conditioning and a private terrace; some add a private hot tub, a sauna or a private pool. Shared facilities include a saltwater infinity pool overlooking the valley, walking trails across the estate, and a sky with almost no light pollution for stargazing. Deer, wild boar and birds of prey are regular neighbours. Cork Valley is adults-only (16+) and dog-friendly (fee applies). Check-in from 17:00, check-out by 13:00. Breakfast baskets, dinners and activities (guided 4x4 tours of Cabañeros, beekeeping experience, stargazing) can be booked on site.

Each Mirror House sits alone on its own stone base, oriented so you never see your neighbours. Inside: a double bed facing the window, an equipped kitchen with dining table, a private bathroom with walk-in shower, heating and air-conditioning, and wifi. Outside: a private terrace with sun loungers, the silence of a 70-hectare private estate and one of the darkest skies in Spain (Starlight destination). Horses and deer graze nearby.
