Nice clean quiet campground
Nice clean quiet campground. We were able to secure our camping trailer at our site (#10) while we hiked and drove in the Ouachita National Forest looking at all the fall color. We will return.

Beautiful HUGE Pines & Mountains!
Renea & her family were so amazing! Their HIPCAMP property was fantastically set up & endlessly beautiful! 10/10 would highly recommend them again and again!! Our trip from Texas was so worth the drive once we arrived into the huge pines and mountains! The views are spectacular surrounding their land — Endless hiking opportunities for the whole family!

Fancy Hill-RV Site (next to Cabin)
Second to none remote cabin camping. We stayed in a trailer next to the cabin. Our friends loved the cabin and our set up for a trailer was perfect. Absolutely beautiful property on a creek with access to some woods for exploring. 20-40 minutes from national forest recreational areas. Truly perfect!

Beautiful peaceful family site!
We enjoyed this place a lot. Very quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. This camprground was very clean, and enjoyable. Renea was very helpful and very detailed with location information. We would recommend this place to anybody for an awesome little getaway. Our very young children enjoyed it as much as we did. Clean river area directly behind our area (site 4) to play in. We will definitely be coming back! 5 stars from us!

Great Spot !
It was right by a wonderful creek which was perfect to hang out in and listen to from our tent. Our fur baby loved it. We felt very secluded in this space and enjoyed our stay here!

Quiet Peaceful Area By the Falls
The Fancy Hill area was amazing! Our spot was perfect, it was a very nice quiet area with no one around us. A nice little hill to wonder around at the campsite l, also a fire pits and picnic table if you needed it. Little Missouri falls and the Albert peak area were just a short over. Will stay again next time!

The BEST CAMPING site I’ve found.
This place is really nice clean camp ground. And the people are so helpful and just really nice. I don’t usually give public reviews however on this one, I’m taking the time to do so. We will definitely be back. My 14 year old son has already asked when we are going back. And you not cramped in with other campers. You have a really BIG site. So glad I found this place. I have already told others about Fancy Hill. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

We had a great weekend here! We stayed next to the river and it was so peaceful. It was a really pleasant experience even though it rained both nights - lots of tree cover. Renea and family were so kind and even told us about some falls nearby. Would absolutely stay again if we're in the area!

By far the most well maintained and cleanest camp ground I have been to.
The shop is very fairly priced.

Don’t Miss This Gem!
We loved it here! The owners bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable and peaceful. Their hearts are to share the beauty of their property with others. We connected right a way with them. And you have to meet Charlie. He is the dad of one of the owners who who cuts and mills lumber on his own and runs the Fancy Hill General Store. He has everything anyone would ever need in that store from ice cream to wrenches and s’mores to inner tubes! And did I say he’s a spry 71 years old! The camp is snuggled between the Caddo River which is great for canoeing, kayaking and floating, and the Ouchita National Forrest which has great hiking trails. We will be back.

We brought our teardrop trailer and camped for 3 nights at Fancy Hill. The campsite was shaded and right on a shallow creek bed. Our kids loved playing and exploring in the creek.

Fabulous, secluded stay
We loved camping at Fancy Hill! Private and secluded. Our spot at #3 was perfect right on the water. We had to leave earlier than expected but our time there was perfect. Renea was so accommodating and checked in from time to time. We will definitely be back!

Serene, spacious, and picturesque!
We loved everything about our stay here, and so did our kiddos! Jack Creek is lovely. There is a part that looks like a little staircase that we enjoyed sitting at to cool off.. We were very impressed with the land, and location. Had fun games spread throughout the property, and we didn’t even see any of the other campers. It felt so private and serene, and our site was big enough for everything we needed, and more! The pictures are great, but still don’t do it justice! We appreciated the cleanest port a potty I’ve ever seen, and the solar lit paths were nice at night. I haven’t seen so many fireflies in such a long time, and we all also enjoyed that, and can’t wait to go back! Great hosts!

Green Spacious Primitive Sites
We had a great time camping here, trees were perfect shade, the river crystal clear, hosts were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in site 5, which backs up to the next property. They have flood lights on all night, great for a group with small kids running around but we like yours darkness and stars. Site 4 right next to it would be perfect for a darker option. The spots across the water are probably the best as they are beautiful and have heavy shading but they are much closer together so it would be best if you have a group and get to take 1,2,&3 (which is what the campers there at our time were doing). The spots not along the river are really nice and some have very lush ground that would be great if you don't mind a one minute walk to the water, we wanted to hear the water as we slept. The river has a mini rapid right at the curve so it's perfect for drowning it other's noise. There river is perfect to sit on but not deep enough to swim unless you're a kiddo. There is another bigger river right up the road a couple miles and then about 20 minutes away is a waterfall national Forrest type area with trails and swimming and it's amazing. The little store onsite literally had everything you could ever think of that you could need and to our surprise it was all reasonably priced. All in all we really enjoyed our trip, the photos of the property don't do it justice as they are winter photos and the trees are so much more lush in summer. Oh and the porta potty was probably the cleanest we have ever seen. We definitely recommend staying here for a nice rustic, primitive place to camp.

Awesome site next to the South Cadd
Great, peaceful location next to the South Caddo River. My son loved playing in the creek. Campsite was nice. Recently mowed with a fire ring and picnic table. Great shade trees and plenty of places to pitch a tent. Owners checked on us when we first arrived to offer any assistance we may need but we otherwise had the place to ourselves due to the weather.

I stay on the river!
Renea and her husband were very welcoming to me, the first night that I stayed there were bad thunderstorms and she seemed very concerned for my safety and well-being letting me know where I could move my tent too on higher ground should there be flooding. The property has very well marked walking trails, a beautiful pond and campsites that a right on the river. The first day the river was shallow enough that you could see through the bottom but after the rain storm it was deep enough that the kids could jump off the bridge and not hit the bottom. With that being said, yes, you can swim in the river! There is no phone service to make sure you have your directions prepared call Ma the directions to Renee I will give you will take you right there though! A beautiful stay on the river and I hope to be back soon!

True bliss in a quiet paradise!
My fiancee and I were just looking for a place to unwind for a few days. Little did we know, how sad we'd be to leave. This campground was phenomenal. The owners were truly gracious, have nothing but love for their land, and an overwhelming awareness of giving an experience of peace and tranquility to their campers. It's located in a remote section of the Quachita Forest, next to the Little Missouri Falls, Albert Pike Rec. Area, and Crooked Creek Falls. It has a fully stocked fishing pond, and several more up the road on Forestry land. The Creek was gorgeous and soothing. The campsites were spaced out well, but a few could be reserved for a large gathering do easily. There's no cell service and absolutely no worries! Fancy Hills General Store was available with all our needs and just a good conversation. We were the only campers on the weekend we visited, and we felt truly blessed, because this amazing place will not be so isolated soon. Do yourselves a favor and visit.
