Wes and Sherry were so friendly and helpful! Their camp spot was wonderful for our 5-night stay as it was just blocks away from downtown Gilbert and our kids were just down the road. Be aware there is a train that goes by a few times a day but it didn't bother us at all. I would highly recommend their lovely spot that included all the hookups and a washer and dryer!

The hosts/owners were kind, thoughtful, professional, helpful, and nonobtrusive. This was the perfect stay and we hope to be back again. The location was walking distance to a very trendy downtown, which was incredibly convenient. You have to be okay with train noise.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sherry’s! They had the gate open and greeted us as soon as we arrived. The place was perfect for our needs! We were visiting friends for a couple of days and this place was only 7 minutes away. The lot is level it might take a minute to get backed in if you are inexperienced. I was able to back my 38ft diesel pusher in on the first try! The owners are right next door if you have any questions or they will leave you alone if you wish. Full hookups are a plus. 50/30 amp service. Walking distance from downtown. We would definitely stay there again.
Amazing hosts, so friendly. The space is close to restaurants and shopping and was nice and quiet. Power, water and sewer were easy to access. We look forward to staying again!

Lovely gracious hosts and a perfect location in Gilbert ! The neighborhood was safe, friendly, and quiet. The trains were not a bother and hardly heard them. The hosts are friendly, welcoming, helpful, and responsive. My dogs loved having the yard to hang out in secured all around and that was a huge plus for us. We would definitely stay again !

From the great initial contact from Sherry with clear instructions on how to get to, and back into, the site to the warm and friendly welcome on our arrival we had a fantastic one night stay in Downtown Gilbert. Don't worry if you're not used to backing in as Sherry's husband is on hand to help. They also warned about potential train noise which to be honest did not disturb us at all. Located very close to the historic area of Gilbert and to the local restaurants this is a brilliant location for a stay in Gilbert, especially if you're looking for a first night or more stay after picking up your RV rental.

Great hipcamp with full hook ups just down the street from the Gilbert "avenue" of shops, restaurants & walking/biking paths. Gravel pad was level and long for easy maneuvering into place. The ramp from the street onto the pad was a little narrow and close to the rear fence line but our dually fit fine. Fenced in backyard was great for the dog and laundry inside the covered porch was easily accessible. Wifi worked well and was consistently reliable for work from home/video calls. We supplemented with Starlink and it worked well with no obstructions. Owners were helpful, accommodating and afforded us sufficient privacy given the close proximity to their home. Train crossing was pretty close and we heard the whistle roughly 4-5 times a day, occasionally at night, but overall no big deal.

1. The location was amazing, being within walking distance of Gilbert's restaurant and entertainment area.
2. The site itself was perfect for us. Our pups could play, unleashed, within their enclosed yard and we felt our RV was safe when we ventured out.
3. The hosts were kind, helpful, organized and very responsive.
We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed staying at Sherry and Wes' and will hope to book with them again!
Sherry and Wes are gracious and friendly hosts. I'm excited to return to the 'camp' as is but their planned upgrades sound delightful too!
The water ran well and their 30 amp worked great. Our 19' trailer and pick up truck fit into the drive way with plenty of space to stretch out and we felt secure in the neighborhood. The securely fenced yard was perfect for our dogs and there are sidewalks to walk dogs around for other exercise if needed.
This is a family oriented space that felt judgement free and a place my partner and I will return to and for a longer stay. Gilbert looks to have some neat places nearby to check out.
There is a train track a block over and only one train came through in two days but this is a good to know for others. We love trains so it was no bother to us.

Sherry is such a welcoming, accommodating and kind hostess. The lot is level and she even leaves a mat out (which we forgot to bring so were thrilled to find). Hookups are as described and easy to access. The yard is enclosed so our pup was able to run and play, as were our children -- which made this site one of their favorites ever. The girls liked watching the train go by, and it didn't wake them at night.
We also appreciated the proximity to the heritage district, and my daughter and I even walked south to Mythical Coffee one day, about a 1/2 hr stroll along Gilbert Rd [highly recommend visiting this coffee shop, btw].
These folks are a gem. They make you feel like family…A family you WANT to belong too…😉👍🏼

Sherry and her husband were SO accommodating and helpful. Their property is very cute & so close to the downtown area. The dogs enjoyed the large fenced in yard. It was easy for my husband to back our 42 ft rv into the space and the water, electric, and sewage included was a win!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sherry’s land. She welcomed us from the minute we arrived and felt very comfortable and welcomed. She had a cute and cozy spot to land a few days while we visited my son in Phoenix. We were able to walk into Gilbert with our pups and enjoy a nice light dinner out. The pups really enjoyed being able to stretch their legs out in her yard. Wow! That was awesome to have them be able to not be on a leash. We sat in our cars the first day soaking up the sun. Thank you Sherry for your hospitality!

Historic Downtown Gilbert Get Away
We loved staying here! You can't beat the location. Downtown Gilbert was about an 8 minute walk. We went out for dinner on Friday night then to the farmer's market on Saturday morning. The hosts were very kind and also helped us back into the spot. It is a little challenging to back into, but we were able to make it work no problem. The full hook ups were great! We would definitely stay here again.
Sherry and her husband were wonderful people and so understanding. They made you feel at home and were so helpful. Would absolutely recommend them to any and everybody

Amazing location, full hooks and friendly hosts! This spot is walking distance to a bunch of restaurants and shops in Gilbert and a short drive to phoenix. The hosts are amazing and even allow access to do laundry. 10/10 stay!
Sherry and Wes made us feel at home, and we didn't want to leave. It's the best place we have ever stayed!

Great host. Met us as we arrived and helped us to park and set up. Beautiful site with nice fenced yard for our dogs to run. Sherry sent us a lot of information before we arrived about restaurants, bars and shops to visit. The location is PERFECT! We walked to many locations. Great farmers market also. We will definitely return.
